All original 87 Cressida with just over 110k miles, located in Oceanside, California. This classic Toyota is becoming sought after... It bought it at about 90k and it seems as if the car was babied throughout its life. Unfortunately, I rear ended someone last week and don’t have the money to get it fixed. I ran into the other car at about 10mph. When I hit the brakes before impact, the front end dipped down and the grill took the brunt of the impact. This caused the radiator to be pushed back into the clutch fan. As an FYI, the damage is all repairable and there are no fluid leaks. However, coincidentally before the accident, we couldn’t get car successfully California smog checked, due to excessive smoke on the visual inspection. After running a compression test, it turns out 3 cylinders are low. Even so, the car drove fine and I’ve never had to add oil. Other downsides: OE speakers are blown, Steering wheel is worn under the cover, paint is faded, rear antenna attempts to rise when radio is on, but doesn’t. The Good: No rust, no leaks, all maintenance has been done with OEM Toyota parts, the interior is in excellent condition (no cracks in the leather!), power everything. I’ve spent a lot of money on keeping the car running prime. Any time something felt a little out of the norm, I would take it to my mechanic. I have receipts, including replacing all the shift solenoids in the transmission. The car could be parted for more money, but it would be nice to see someone restore it.Keep in mind, it’s the buyer responsibility to arrange pick up. Let me know if you have any other questions!
