1970 Bridgestone 175 Hurricane. Low original miles of 2247. Manufacture Date: 1/70. Matching numbers bike. Original vintage time warp. This bike was found in a garage at a garage sale. I have the clear Michigan Title. The title says 1971 which was a common practice back then. A dealer would title it the year they sold it, not the year the tag said it was made. Or, sometimes, the manufacturer would make the bike in a month and then not ship them till that fall and they would call them for the next year. So, call it whatever makes you happy. It kicks over with very solid compression. You should research these Hurricanes. It has a dual shifter. It has a lever on the side of the transmission that you can move to 2 positions. Position 1 is a 4 speed with a constant rotating shift pattern. Position 2 is a 5 speed with neutral between 1 and 2 . Cool and unique. Back in the day, these bikes were quite popular. I have not tried to start it up but i think a battery and a little finicking around and she ought to fire right up. Owner said it always ran fine but he has parked it a few years ago and not ridden due to his age so I stumbled on it. I don't really have time to put into it, so, it will go to the highest bidder at auction. Hopefully, it finds a good home. Thanks.
