Vehicle Detail
This is a 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle that is the perfect turn key cruiser that has been thoroughly gone through mechanically and is a dependable driver. Equipped with factory power steering and 308 gears its an easy driver on the highway. The 4-speed makes it fun to drive and you will definitely turn some heads. Engine is a 327 out of a 1968 Camaro and is a very sound motor. It starts easy with a Holley carburetor with electric choke. It has a new set of heads and ceramic coated headers. A mild cam along with Flowmaster exhaust gives it a nice rumble going down the road. Transmission is a Borg Warner T-10 from a mid 70's corvette and its backed with a new Hay's clutch, and Hurst shifter. Rear end is a stock GM 10 Bolt with factory posi and 308 gears. New rear brakes including wheel cylinders. The car has been lowered about 3" using drop spindles in the front and new Hotchkis tubular upper A arms for improved geometry, new coil springs, and shocks. The front end has new upper and lower ball joints, wheel bearings and 11" disc brakes. Rear suspension includes new Hotchkis upper and lower control arms, traction bars, shocks, and new coil springs. I had a new driveshaft custom made when I replaced the transmission with the T-10 The 17" American Racing Torq Thrust wheels are the perfect combination for the lowered stance of the car and the tires still have about 70% tread. The interior is in great shape and has the original AM stereo in place. The current stereo has a CD player and remote and is mounted in the glove box to help maintain the stock appearance of the car. Body and paint are about 20 years old and do show some signs of wear and paint has a few scratches that have been touched up. Side note: that is water under the car from a recent wash......not an oil leak.
