Vehicle Detail
1957 Chevy Bel Air Pro Street, 468 Big Block with pro a built TH350 and 8 3/4 Chrysler rear. The car has a clean title, and is street legal and currently registered in Connecticut. This is a car you can get in turn the key and drive it to any show and take home a trophy. The 468 runs excellent, it has a healthy cam with a lopey idle, and works well with the 2800 stall converter. Every inch of this car was professionally built, body off the frame, rewired, smoothed, polished, painted, and powder coated, nothing was left untouched. Paint is excellent with a couple small chips I tried to show in the pictures. Panels are perfectly straight, no waves, dents or orange peel. Interior is just as nice as the outside. So much has been done to this car its hard to even list it all on here so if there are any questions just ask and I will answer. If you would like to see the car before bidding, send me with your contact info. Over 100K was spent to build this car, the reserve will be less than a quarter of that.On Nov-30-15 at 18:23:15 PST, seller added the following information: I wanted to add some info about the title listed as "clear". In Connecticut cars older than 1968 do not have a paper title, the bill of sale is all that is required to transfer ownership. I own the car outright, no liens. loan or any money owed on the car. The listing states the title as clear because you cannot leave that option blank when you create the listing. You have to pick from the following:ClearSalvageRebuildable & ReconstructedFlood Water damageLemon Manufacturing buy back On Dec-02-15 at 17:53:36 PST, seller added the following information: To answer some of the questions about the car that were not in the original description. The car manual rack & pinion steering, front drop spindles, coilovers, manual front disc & rear drum brakes, all lights, blinkers and gauges even the cigarette lighter work as they should, the radio and amplifier work fine. The aftermarket tach is currently not working but I will look into why that is. The nitrous system is fully plumbed and installed with the exception of the arming switch as the motor was never sprayed. The car does not smoke, knock, or leak. There is no rust anywhere on the car. From all the information I have on the car, I do not have the date the restoration was completed but I would have to put my best estimate within the the last 5 years due to the condition of the car. The odometer currently shows 46,xxx miles. In the year owning the car it was driven to 3 local car shows, the rest of the time it stayed in a climate controlled garage under its Califonia car cover that is also included. There is one chip in the paint I took a better photo of, and the same fender has 2 small scratches I could not get the camera to focus on. eBay only lets me add so many photos and not very large sizes, so I added more to a photobucket album that show just how nice the car is. The car is a show winner, including its best in class and best of show trophies. If someone wants a specific picture anything or any more information just ask. The link to those photos is here: http://s1166.photobucket.com/user/671chevelleDave/library/ Also took a short video of the car running tonight in the garage. This is the link to the Youtube video: https://youtu.be/aDyt3PoMwGE I encourage anyone serious about this car to contact me to come see the car, the pictures dont even do it justice to how nice it is.On Dec-05-15 at 18:21:09 PST, seller added the following information: A few people have said they are having trouble seeing the pictures, I think eBay disables links outside of Ebay, you need to copy and paste this in the address bar of your web browser. http://s1166.photobucket.com/user/671chevelleDave/library/?sort=3&page=1
