For a 50yr old bike, this is in pretty good condition. When I bought this bike 2 years ago, it was last registered back in 1991 in Goleta, CA. It came with the original title so it was a one owner bike. After buying the bike I cleaned both carbs and tank, got new tires, new battery, checked points and timed, put fresh oil and gas... and it started right up. My plan was to restore it but along came my 2nd child and so sadly it sits in my garage, only ridden a few times up and down the coast of Palos Verdes. The bike is presentable as is. The paint on tank when I bought it had some scratches and paint rubbed off where the seat and tank meet which is common on these bikes. I decided to paint the tank, it looks better but I would get it re-painted professionally if I were to keep it. There's a small ding on the tank that the camera can't catch, the steering dampener is chipped, my guess is something dropped on top of the bike while it was stored. I replaced the original seat cover and foam as they were cracked and brittle. The fork sleeve covers, side covers, fenders and mufflers have dents and scuffs. All electrical works, the electric start works fine, starts in first or second kick. It is a complete and fairly original bike. VIN number is CB4501016654 and Engine number is CB450E1014466.
