The XJ 12 (so named for it's 12 cylinder engine) abounds in understated elegance sophistication and style. It features the classic, British "Racing Green" body color, sumptuous cream colored all Leather interior, with "Burled" walnut accents, including the stearing wheel. The adjustable bucket front seats can be heated. The sound system, as you might expect, is top of-the-line, with Harmon Cardon speakers mounted in the doors front and back. There is a 6 CD loading cartridge, which STILL contains the last three CD's that Joe was enjoying, (which will remain unknown, and for the lucky new owner to find out for themselves...they will NOT be disappointed !)...The Jaguar XJ12 has approx. 31,600 "ORIGINAL MILES". Joe and his wife Pam built their beautiful Mad Dog Ranch and made their home in a region known as the "North Fork Valley". It's an agricultural valley on the Western Slope of the Rockies, and is so named because the North Fork tributary to the Gunnison River flows right down the middle of the valley. In addition to being an area marked by abundant beauty, the valley is home to one of the finest non-commercial Public Radio stations in America: 36-year-old, grassroots, KVNF-FM Community Radio (North Fork Valley Public Radio, Inc), which serves seven rural counties in Western Colorado and a bit of Eastern Utah. KVNF, was dear to Joe Cocker's heart. He and his wife Pam, were generous, long-time supporters of the station and, in fact, they helped with the purchase and remodeling of KVNF's current state-of-the-art facility. In gratitude to the Cockers, the "On-Air" studio at KVNF, is named the "Cocker Studio". In addition to their support of the station, Joe and Pam were integral members of the North Fork Valley for many years. They infused energy into the local economy with the launch of the Mad Dog Cafe in Crawford, Colo., which served for many years as a community gathering place as well as a great eatery. Pam and Joe contributed tirelessly to the youth of the area through their Cocker Kids’ Foundation which continues to raise money and make grants to local schools and other projects for the enrichment and development of local youth. Joe performed at two “At Home” Concerts at the County Fairgrounds in Hotchkiss, Colo., entertaining thousands and passing the proceeds along to local schools and children.
