Vehicle Detail
Recently, I listed and sold a project 1955 Chevrolet. I stated that it was only one of the projects that I have to sell because I am no longer able to expend the energy, time and money to work with these cars. This listing is for a beautiful 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-door post. It has a brand new 290 HP GM crate engine and rebuilt, fresh TH350 transmission. The entire car, within the past two years, went through a frame-off complete restoration. The engine that was in the car, a 400 CI, tired but running good, was replaced by the new crate engine mentioned above. The paint is enamel, GM code 70, Torch Red, a beautiful color on this car. The interior is custom with a console and CD, radio and stereo built in. The car has air conditioning, restored/rebuilt original dash guages, and 6-way power driver's seat. The tires and wheels are new. The radiator is new, supplemented by a power electric cooling fan. The Holley Street Avenger carburetor is new, supplemented by a frame mounted, in-line electric fuel pump. The headers and exhaust system are new. All stainless and chrome is either new or refurbished. The front and rear bumpers are new. All glass is in good condition. The rear end has been completely rebuilt, all new bearings, seals, etc. The car has power steering with a 2 inch dropped front spindle and power disc brakes. The rear brakes are drum, rebuilt. If interested in this car, do your due diligence before bidding. This car drives out just fine. If you would like to come see it, drive it, etc., let me know. Ask all questions-I will respond quickly. The car is for sale "where is, as is". No Buyers remorse-bid to buy, but ask all questions before bidding, please. Buyers are responsible for transportation/shipping. I will assist you or you transport company in prepping and loading the car for transport. This car (check out Mecum Auctions, check here in Ebay) is worth $29,000.00 to $35,000.00 easily in perfect condition, but there are a couple of problems with this unfinished car that must be addressed. Ask about those. The car is driveable, however, and enjoyable, as is. My reserve is low. Buy to enjoy or expend a little effort to flip at a profit. My Buyer will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of $500.00 through PayPal, and the balance payable within 7 days. On Nov-26-15 at 08:20:14 PST, seller added the following information: Note: Georgia is not a title state for these old cars. A bill of sale, only, will be provided to the buyer.
