1968 Honda CB

This is a very nice example of this one year only Honda CB450 K1. This bike came out after the Black Bomber and was the first 5 speed. This one has the original paint and it is in nice condition. It still has the original dealer decal on the left side cover. The mufflers are original and shine nicely, no holes, rust, or rot and they are solid, and sound great. The tires are 2 years old and still have the nubs. The tires are Metzler Lasertecs. The bike has all original Honda parts or Honda NOS parts, including the correct, authentic tank badges. The only non stock items are the brand new Yuasa battery, the tires, and the seat, which was professionally recovered (not cheap). The seat pan is original and in great shape. The chrome shines very nicely. Due to a bad back, the bike has been stored in my climate controlled garage for the 2 years. I just had the carbs cleaned, fuel flushed, new battery and the whole bike checked by the local Honda shop. The mechanic loved the bike and commented on how well it runs and rides. The speedo jumps around and he said it needs to be replaced. I am leaving the original in place for provenance, but will include a correct NOS speedo. All electronics work as they should and the bike runs excellent and starts easily with the kick starter or the electric start. The fuel tank is clean, solid, with no rust. Included is the owners manual. This is a matching number bike - Engine # CB450E- 3002463 and Frame # CB450- 3002536. N.H. Does not issue titles on vintage bikes, so you will receive a Bill of Sale and registration. I will be listing this bike locally, so the auction could end anytime. I will assist your shipper, and can keep the bike in my climate controlled garage for a reasonable time as agreed with the buyer.
