Up for auction and offered at no reserve is this nice 48 Chevy 2 ton flatbed truck with a dump bed! This is a neat old truck that is ready for restoration! The truck is original and in pretty good condition. The original 216 runs great, I have driven the truck around the yard several times, it has a hydraulic dump bed and manual winch that work great! I have had this truck for several years and have stored cars on the back of it. The truck even has its original spare tire mounted under it! The truck is showing 43,868 miles, there is no way to prove it but I would say the miles are correct. The truck has been off the road since the late 50s and stored in a barn for many years! The truck is fairly solid, there is some rust in the passenger side cab corner and door and the lower cowl where the front fenders meet the cab. The floor pan is pretty nice as well. The truck is a great start for your next project, I have owned the truck for several years and don’t know when I will be able to get to it! This truck does run and can be driven onto your trailer, however the tires are dry rotted and not safe, there are no brakes either. This truck is not drive-able on the road, it must be hauled. I have a clear VA title for the truck issued in 1958. I try to give an accurate description of the vehicle, if you have any questions please ask. If you need more pictures I will get them. It is a project vehicle that will need to be towed. It is being sold as-is where-is. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours, the balance in 7 days.
