I recently purchased this amazing low-mileage (5,100 original miles!!), virtually mint bike from its original owner with the intent of making it the first bike I've owned and ridden since I was 25 years old (I'm now 57). I purchased it through an on-line ad from several states away, so I did not ride the bike prior to owning it. Unfortunately, I did not realize that many of these Honda Shadows have very low driver's seats compared to the 1970's Honda CB bikes that I rode when I was much younger. I'm 6' 2", and the riding position on this bike is simply too low for me and my long legs. This is the ONLY reason that I'm selling this awesome machine. As you can imagine, I am very disappointed that it won't work for me. It starts right up every time, runs like new, smooth as silk, and it's very fast! The gas tank, chrome, and body of this bike are like new. The tires and the battery are new. I've included an extensive array of pictures with close-ups so that you can clearly see for yourself how clean this bike is in every way. It has NO leaks or faults of any kind! The pictures do not lie. I found only one minor scratch on the visible parts of the bike; it's on a chrome cover on the left side of the bike and is documented in one of the pictures. This bike is as close to new in appearance as a used bike can get! It's still hard for me to believe it's 28 years old. It was always garaged and babied by its original owner. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with this Honda motorcycle! It needs NOTHING.
