A classic and soon to be collectible 247.  I've owned 28 BMW motorbikes and other than my R90s RP RR and R80 GSPD this is the nicest airhead and the best original R80ST I've seen.  I won't call it perfect, because it's not, no motorbike is.  But it's super nice.  Well maintained by one of the top independent, exclusive BMW shops in the country. Mileage is listed but bike is ridden. Engine oil, gearbox and final drive fluids just changed.  Brakes bled.  Valves checked and adjusted.   Avon Distanzia tires new in 12/2010 but like new in both condition and tread depth.  Wheel bearings done at same time. Carbs are tuned and synched. Upgrades; BMW accessory gauges, Spiegler SS black brake lines (lifetime warranty) the oem ones fail often. Original paint in code 541 Red Metallic and it's spectacular.  The pictures should tell the story. Bike comes with BMW factory luggage (not pictured) and two luggage racks, the one installed and the larger one.  Bike is awesome.  Hard to find, especially in this condition.  One sold recently here on ebay that was not original and much higher mileage for $5,900.  That bike was very nice and well cared for.  This bike far exceeds.  Comes with keys, manuals, tool kit and oem wheel lock.  You won't find another no excuses, expertly cared for motorbike that's actually ridden. Build date is 4/4/84. Spiegler brake lines were installed at 15,743 and fork seals at 15,893. Own the very best. BMW RA and MOA Life Member.
