Vehicle Detail

My listing is for a 1955 Chevrolet 2-door 210 which has been built from the ground up, frame off with new body parts where needed. The build included new quarter panels, innner and outer, inner rear fenders, trunk floor, trunk tail piece, complete floor assembly with body mounts, inner and outer rocker panels and new doors. The frame was media blasted and painted. All suspension parts on the frame are new, including the front steering and braking parts which include a 2 inch dropped spindle and front disc brakes. New springs, front and rear. All body mount parts are new. Included, is a Danchuk shock mount kit to position the shocks between the frame rails. The roof is the original. It has some minor pitting in a couple of places along the rain gutters. The drive train consists of a recently overhauled 350 engine with a mild street cam, .030 overbore, Holley 4-barrel Street Avenger carburetor, 4 speed Saginaw transmission, and the original Chevrolet rear end. The engine and transmission are mounted in the frame. The wheels and tires depicted are not part of this sale-but good wheels and tires will be provided. It will be a "roller". Considerable money has been spent on this car, but unfortunately, I am not able to finish it out. Please ask questions, if interested, through Ebay. I will answer promptly. Interested bidders are invited to come see the car, at my convenience. The car is located in Tallapoosa, Georgia. I reserve the right to cancel any bids. I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time. The car is sold with a bill of sale (GA is not a title state on these older cars). The car is sold as is, where is. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer. The succesful bidder/buyer is required to pay a non-refundable deposit of $500.00 via PayPal within 48 hours of auction end. The balance of the purchase price is due within seven (7) days and may be paid by a U.S. bank certified check or bank wire transfer. In any event, the full purchase price must be in my account and certified before the buyer may pick up the car. Additional information: Sheet metal and body parts utilized in this car come from, among others: Goodmark, Gold Star, and Danchuk. I had intended to do power windows in this car. The power window kit will be provided with the car. I have all the belt line trim, including the rear quarter paint dividers. All of this is in good condition. I have the rear window trim. Is in good condition. A Grant custom steering wheel with wheel puller and installation kit go with the car. The orginal steering wheel and steering box are now in the car. I have new brake lines, front and rear, for the car. Also, have a new and unused proportioning valve for in-line application for front discs and rear drum brake system. I have weather stripping, rubber seals, etc. for the doors, windshield, rear glass, and, I think, for the trunk lid. These are new Soff-Seal/Danchuk items. A Danchuk upholstery installation kit I goes with the car. It consists of backer boards for both doors and quarters, plus clips, metal edges and lower frames. Also, an instruction sheet. On Nov-17-15 at 13:52:14 PST, seller added the following information: Since the photos here, the entire car has been prepped and a PPG light gray primer/sealer applied to protect it for storage, where it is now.On Nov-17-15 at 15:00:03 PST, seller added the following information: I am providing my buyer a choice of headers for the engine. My buyer gets both: chrome headers and high performance wrapped headers. See pictures. The chrome headers are new and unused (they are bright and shiny, but dusty in the pictures), and the wrapped headers are used.On Nov-18-15 at 05:47:25 PST, seller added the following information: It should be noted that this car (frame and body) was re-built in a professional rod shop with many years of experience. On Nov-19-15 at 03:31:06 PST, seller added the following information: Just a thought! My auction ends during the middle of Thanksgiving week. In that regard, the vehicle is high and dry in storage and can remain there until a good time for my buyer to pick it up, say at least within 15 days after auction end. I will assist you or your hauler in loading. On Nov-19-15 at 15:03:22 PST, seller added the following information: I have been asked several questions about the VIN tag. Both, the cowl tag and the VIN tag were removed to protect them while the car was being media blasted. But, they remain with the car and the buyer gets them. Best to re-attach them after the car is painted. On Nov-20-15 at 02:54:09 PST, seller added the following information: I have been asked specifically whether I have the under dash heater/defrost duct. Yes, I have it. It will be with the many other parts that go with the car. On Nov-21-15 at 02:02:34 PST, seller added the following information: I noticed that the front fender extensions are not shown in any of the pictures-I have them.
