Vehicle Detail
1978 Jeep WagoneerArizona SurvivorUp for auction is the super cool and original Jeep Wagoneer 4x4. This is not your typical Wagoneer, this rig has the optional big block 401. Most of these Jeeps came standard with the 360. If your looking for a true unrestored and unmolested original southwest Wagoneer...this is it! The awesome patina on the truck is highly desired and can only come from the AZ desert. Keep as is, clear coat it or restore the super straight and solid body but there only old once. This Jeep runs smooth as butter and wouldn't be afraid to drive it cross country right now. The odometer shows 34k but cant be sure if and how many times it may have rolled over but based on the condition of the pedals, I would guess it may have only rolled once. The motor runs better then most new cars and has tons of power, doesn't smoke or make any unusual noises. Dual exhaust, 4bbl carb, all fluids checked and all mechanicals work great. It has P/S, P/B, Cruise, Trailer Brakes and A/C. The interior is gorgeous and all original. The glass is perfect and the chrome is outstanding with zero pitting or damage. Rear window rolls up and down perfectly. Brand new Goodyear tires (31x10.5x15) on the original aluminum mag wheels. Check out the lower rocker pics...they are perfect. Its really hard to find any dents or body damage anywhere on this thing...super solid! Comes with several Manuals for the previous owner. The only problems I'm aware if is the fuel gauge isn't reading but that should be an easy fix (either the gauge or sender is bad). The other requirement is going to be a new glove box. The existing cardboard unit is in bad shape and in this box is where the 4x4 switch is mounted so, a new glove box is needed but they are like $30 online. Do your research and its no surprise what these Wagoneers can sell for when there restored. Super low reserve with clear and clean AZ title in hand. The last image shows a similar Jeep when it was new.PLEASE REALIZE THAT THIS TRUCK IS USED, THE BODY AND PAINT ARE NOT PERFECT AND HAS FLAWS. IT IS APPROX 37 YEARS OLD, IS NOT "PERFECT". I'M ONLY SAYING THIS TO PROTECT MYSELF FROM EXTREME PERFECTIONISTS. THIS VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD COMPLETELY AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY, ORAL, EXPRESS, WRITTEN, IMPLIED, OR OTHERWISE. THE SELLER SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CORRECT DESCRIPTION, AUTHENTICITY, OR DEFECTS HEREIN, AND MAKES NO WARRANTY IN CONNECTION THEREWITH AND TO HAVE SATISFIED HIMSELF OR HERSELF AS TO THE CONDITION AND VALUE AND TO BID BASED UPON THAT JUDGEMENT SOLELY. WINNING THE AUCTION MEANS THAT YOU HAVE ENTERED INTO A CONTRACT TO PAY FOR THE VEHICLE, AND DOES NOT ENTITLE THE WINNER TO COME BY FOR A POST AUCTION INSPECTION TO RENEGOTIATE AFTER ELIMINATING COMPETING BIDDERS. IF YOU WISH TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE, YOU MUST DO SO BEFORE AUCTION END. PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE THE END OF THE AUCTION TO ARRANGE FOR INSPECTION, THANKS.
