This ebay auction will be for a 1997 BMW 318ti. This rear wheel drive two door hatchback has a Black exterior finish with a matching Black leather interior. This 318ti comes nicely equip with power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, air conditioning, dual SRS airbags, a custom Kenwood am/fm/cd player, rear window wiper and rear window defrost. This 318ti also has the special M-series performance package. The drivetrain is a fuel injected 1.9 liter four cylinder engine with a manual five speed transmission and power four wheel ABS disc brakes. The engine is clean and runs great. The clutch and manual five speed shift good and the other mechanics of this BMW are all also in good shape. We just did all new rotors and brake pads. We service and safety check all our vehicles before we sell them and if there is a problem we correct it before the sale. This BMW is a good reliable vehicle that starts, runs and drives out great. It is a fun car to drive. The Black leather interior has a good original appearance. The drivers seat is worn on the sides from getting in and out (see pics) but the other seats look good. The door panels, dash panel and headliner are all in good shape. The Kenwood radio is not working and the air conditioning is not working. Not sure why, but the other electrical items, lights and gauges are working as they should. There is a "check engine" light on in the dash as well. There are headrests on the seats and a fold down rear seat. Overall everything is in order and the original owners books and service books are included. The Black exterior body also is in good shape. The paint looks all original and we see no signs of any previous accidents or repairs. There are some rust bubbles starting on the left front corner of the car, the paint clear coat is faded off on the rear bumper, there is a small golf ball size dent on the drivers door pillar. Also, there are some small scratches "here and there", nothing significant, just typical of a vehicle this age. Overall the BMW is a very original car and with that hard to find first time appearance. Never any add on spoilers, or air dams or anything non stock. The alloy wheels look good, the glass is good and it is a sharp car. With 154,440 miles this 1997 BMW 318ti M-series rear wheel drive hatchback is a sporty and reliable vehicle to own. It was originally sold in Germany and serviced and maintained there. It is legal and correct for US sales (see DOT sticker pic from under the hood). Also see all the maintenance records and build sheet for the options. The engine and mechanics are in great shape and the car is reliable and fun to drive. We do want to mention, based on the information from above that this BMW is not for the purist. It has its flaws (as mentioned) but is a good original car that has not been altered or abused. The tires are in great shape, the rears are Bridgestone Blizzaks and the fronts are Goodyear Eagle mud and snows. Overall this BMW is a good fun car to own. 1: As new condition. Needs nothing mechanically nor cosmetically. 2: Excellent mechanically and cosmetically. Probably has the normal cosmetic wear, but is in very nice clean condition. 3: Does have more noticeable cosmetic flaws, but still has a nice appearance and is a mechanically sound vehicle. 4: May have more than the normal amount of cosmetic flaws and/or need mechanical work, but still is a decent vehicle. 5: Vehicle needs work and/or cosmetics. May run and drive, but has problems. 6: Non operating vehicle. Probably best used for parts. + : Indicates a stronger numerical rating. - : Indicates a lesser numerical rating. We will not accept Paypal transfers over $250. Financing is not available at this time. 7)DELIVERY METHODS: A)Door to door shipping is acceptable. There are an endless number of transporters and brokers ready to serve you. We recommend you search the Internet for quotes prior to bidding. We will assist with the delivery any way we can. B)Massachusetts does not issue temporary license plates. So we use this standard procedure for out of state transactions. We ask that the buyer makes full payment on the vehicle. Once payment has been received and cleared, we will overnight mail to you the title and our bill of sale. At this point the buyer can register and acquire plates for pick up. Every State tends to have different laws so please check your state first if this is a concern. C)To Fly-In-Drive-Home, please use Logan Airport, Boston, MA. as the airport of choice. From there take the Logan Express Shuttle to Woburn, MA. This is about a ten minute ride and a courtesy pick up from us is available at that point. 8)Payment is to be received in full and all payment methods must clear before the release of the vehicle and/or any paperwork can be given. 9)Unless agreed upon, the vehicle is to be picked up within (7) days. After (7) days the vehicle will be brought to a storage facility subject to their liens for release. 10)Not concurring with any of the above terms could result in a loss of this sale.
