This beauty has got to be one of the last of the good ones and, best of all, can be bought for your price through this NO RESERVE auction. She is built Ford tough and is a super clean F550 Super Duty dump with 123,500 one owner miles, 7.3 diesel engine, 6 speed manual transmission, 4x4, AC and 9’ plow. I bought it last Spring to clean up my commercial properties. It was a ONE OWNER with a super clean cab, chassis and body. It needed a little mechanical love so I took it to my favorite mechanic and the following was done: New: Fuel tank (plastic to last forever), Fuel Pump,Banks waste gate, Oil pan, Four rear tires and stainless wheel sims all around, Alignment, Warn hubs, U joints as needed, Shocks, Brakes, Clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing. And its hydraulic so it’s pretty easy to use, Injectors rebuilt. Two were throwing a code so I had them all redone, Wiring harness located under the valve covers as they were brittle with age. Glow plugs and relay, Batteries, 2 high capacity A/C condenser, Ball joints and tie rods, Trailer brake controller,All fluids and filters including tranny and rear end which is posi traction by the way, Newer Ford AM/FM/CD. Speakers are clear with no buzzing. Freshened up the front end with high intensity headlights and ditto for the plow lights. They look really good and throw a lot of light. I have been using it over the summer to clean up some of my properties hauling wood, brush and gravel. The bed is an extra large 7’ wide by 9’7” long. Very strong and straight with no holes or weak points. Took four tons one time like it wasn’t even there. Some think 1999 was the best year due to the solid front axle. Gearing is low 4.56 so I wouldn’t be planning on lots of long high speed hauls. She will happily do 60-65 mph all day long just at a higher RPM. 55 is really comfortable. Plow is a solid 9’ Meyers with quick mount system and hand held controller. Cutting edge is new and plow has no holes or welds. Just repainted and looks sharp. Sits now in the dump bed with the tailgate shut ready for your drive home. The pictures tell the story: no rot or holes in bed. Very clean, very solid, very dependable. Fully inspected and ready to roll. All the work has been done so you don’t have to. Almost everything is new and nothing was left undone that should have been done.
