Here is your chance to own a great example of a 1977 CJ5. This jeep has been restored from the frame up, it is a body off restoration. All rusted metal was cut out and replaced with new. This Jeep has all new floors/body-mounts. The body is rock solid and rust free. This Jeep has a 304 V-8 with new heads, gaskets and headers. The transmission is the T-150 3 speed that goes though all is gears with out any problem and 4x4 works perfect! The following is a list of new parts ( every thing on the jeep has either been replaced or refurbished but this will give you an idea ) New clutch, pressure plate and through out bearing New 2.5 inch lift leaf springs New shocks and sway barNew Warren locking hubs New brakes all the way around with master cylinder and lines all being replaced New stainless steel light bar with 4 halogen lights New windshield with gasket Custom diamond plate dash that's a exact mock up from the original jeep dash Custom full body roll bar that ties into the windshieldLED under mount dash lights 37-13.5-15 tires with aluminum rims, 1 inch spacers and the tires are like new with 90% of tread remainingNew radio with water proof speakers and radio coverNew motor mountsComes with Bikini top and Half doors ( no it does not have a full top) The negatives about this CJ5 are the gas gauge will not work and the turn signals work when they want to. The jeep has been sitting without use for 2 years and I just noticed today it is leaking a small amount of water out the water pump it looks like it will need a new gasket. I am sure it will need some tweaking from sitting around but once those things are addressed It would make a great weekend worrier or even be a nice show car, it has never been abused and the under side looks just as nice as the rest of the jeep.
