This SS impala was bought new buy a older gentleman who drove it & took care of it then did not use it for 9 or 10 years.It sat in the driveway & he would start it every month or so until it would not start which was 2 years ago. I have been approaching him for a few years about the car but he did not want to part with it. It has been off the road since 2006 is the last inspection sticker on the windshield.I finally talked him into selling me the car, the outside is great except for paint peeling on the spoiler. The inner fenders are rotted especially the one that had the battery in it. It needs complete brakes from sitting,all the tires will need to be replaced from dry rot,I replaced the fuel pump & it has some varnished gas in it but I have been putting in fresh gas & running it & it is getting better,but it should have a set of plugs also. I think a belt tensioner or alt will need replacing also because you can hear a dry bearing sound somewhere OK THAT WAS ALL THE BAD now I drove this car down the road today & when you boot it it goes even with stale gas & old plugs it will need to be trailered unless you make arraingments to tune it up & do brakes & tires then you can drive it home MAKE SURE YOU CHECK MY E-BAY SCORE IT MEANS A LOT TO ME ask any questions that you need answered I have all the paper work from the original owner when he bought the car from the dealer thanks & happy bidding
