Vehicle Detail

Please read this description in its entierity including payment details, no surprises. I reserve the right to end this auction early as truck is for sale locally. Up for bids is a 2005 Ford F-150 King Ranch 4x4 Crew Cab pick up truck. I will do my best to describe this vehicle as accuratley as possible and I encourage any potential buyer to set up a time to see this truck in person prior to bidding. Please feel free to ask any questions. Clear NJ title in hand. I am the second owner of this truck and I purchased it from a local Ford dealer in July of 2007, certified preowned, with approx 36,000 miles. Vehicle has never been involved in any accidents to my knowledge. As with any used vehicle, this truck is being sold in "AS IS" condition and there are NO warranties expressed or implied herein / wherein. By bidding on this listing the buyer / winning bidder agrees to sign an "AS IS / NO Warranty" document / bill of sale at completion of sale. This non smoker truck has been VERY well maintained. All oil changes were done using Mobil 1 full synthetic motor oil and all maintenance was kept up to date. I have most, but not every, reciept. I will divide this listing into sections to try to cover everything. But again, feel free to ask any questions. The ONLY reason I am selling this truck is to step up to a 3/4 ton diesel as I want to get a camper for my kids. Engine and drivetrain: Truck is equipped with a V-8 5.4 LTR gasoline engine. Vehicle is equipped with a remote start. The engine starts and runs with no issues. No abnormal smoke or engine noise. Exhaust (Banks Monster) sounds good (deep and throaty). Spark plugs were done at 50,000 miles and 100,000 miles. The truck is equipped with an automatic transmission (4x4). Rear gears are 3:73. I have not found any fluid leaks on the underside of the truck. A "weepy" seal here and there but no leaks and nothing dripping anywhere. I recently (less than 1,000 miles ago) replaced all of the brake pads and brake rotors all the way around as well as a new master cylinder (have recipets). Ball joints (upper and lower), tie rod ends (inner and outer), front and rear shocks (Rancho RS9000) were done about a year and a half ago along with new BF Goodrich All Terrain TKO tires all the way around (tires are about 90-95% treadlife), front end alignment was also completed. New ball joints and tie rod ends (Moog brand) are fitted with grease fittings, as opposed to the factory non greaseable joints. The front shocks are Rancho "Quick Lift" shocks and were installed to "level out" the trucks front end. Truck tracks down the road straight and brakes fine with no vibration, pulling, or noise. Steering feels good with no "play" that I can feel. Truck has a factory rear hitch and wiring. Full size spare tire. Interior: Hands down my favorite part of this truck is the King Ranch interior. Both front seats are power and heated. There is a tear in the drivers seat bottom (see picture) and replacement seat bottom covers are available on Ebay. Leather was always conditioned with "King Ranch" leather conditioner and whatever I have left will go with the truck. There is a rear ceiling mounted flip down DVD player (factory installed). Power windows all the way around as well as power locks. Reverse parking sensors. Power adjustable pedals. Criuse control as well as radio and climate controls are steering wheel mounted and function as designed, there is a small factory installed sub and amp under the back seat, again, FACTORY installed. I installed three accessory rocker switches on the left side of the dash which were used for emergency lighting as I am a firefighter. There is a remote hideaway strobe kit installed in the truck which will remain in place with the excepton of the power supply (I will leave the cables and strobe tubes just add your own power supply, the truck cannot be sold with these lights functioning as per Ebay policy) strobe heads are located in the front headlights, fog lights, and rear reverse lights. All lights function as designed with the exception of the drivers fog light (needs bulb) and the automatic headlights do not come on by themselves, they quit coming on automatically around 100,000 mile mark but I was never really concerned enough about it to look into fixing them (a common issue from what I have read about these trucks), you can still operate the headlights manually using the headlight switch. Heated, power adjustable, power folding mirrors with turn signal indicators work as designed. Truck has reverse parking sensors. Climate control is the automatic type which is nice as it will maintain the temperature you set. A/C worked well this past sumer as it always has. Carpets looks good with a few spots here and there as my children have been on many trips with me in this truck. All glass is intact with no cracks. Rear slider window is power and I have never really used it, it tends to stick closed from lack of use so you may have to lube it a bit if you plan on using it. 12v outlet in dash as well as rear of console. Rear cab doors equipped with child safety locks. Exterior & Paint: This is a used pickup truck, so there are some scratches / blemishes, dings, and chips here and there as expected, but nothing major. Take a look at the pictures as they speak for themselves. I buff this truck down at least twice a year and the paint shows it. Paint is glossy and holds a nice shine. I have not found any rot thru on the body of this truck, small ammount of surface rust on end of bed hat channels (in wheel wells) but nothing signifigant that I can find. Door bottoms are solid and clean as are the rocker panels. (Again, see pictures) There are a few scuffs across the rear tailgate and a small ding where it looks like the tailgate came down on a trailer jack but these have been there since I have had the truck. I purchased the fiberglass Leer tonneau cover a few years ago, used from a fella in PA. It was already painted the same color of the truck when I got it and it has a few dings and scratches on the edges from when he had it stored in his barn, but nothing major. I do not have the key for the cap but I am sure you can get a replacement thru Leer or it easily comes off with 4 clamps (NOT drilled thru bed) Bed has a plastic drop in bedliner along with factory bed extender, tailgate lock works with ignition key. Cab has factory running boards on both sides. Keypad entry on drivers door. As you may have noticed in the pictures I lost the drivers rear door window ventvisor last winter. I take very good care of my vehicles and this truck is no exception. Thats about everything I can think of about the truck. KBB Value is at $13,200 in "Good" condition and $14,000 in "Very Good" condition. Again, I am offering the opportunity and encourage any potential buyers to see this truck in person prior to bidding, no surprises. Feel free to ask any questions and Good Luck!On Oct-27-15 at 15:12:22 PDT, seller added the following information: As of 10/27/15 I have recieved more than a few offers to end the auction early. I appreciate the offers but this truck will be sold to the highest bidder when the auction ends. I will not end it early as it is not fair for those that are bidding, again, thanks for the offers.
