Up for auction is a 1998 Dodge Ram Extended Cab Pickup Truck 1500 4x4. Engine will start but has no power or go. The vehicle was purchased used in 2004 with 102,000 miles. This truck was used as a personal vehicle and driven an average of 2,500 miles each year. I have listed the following replacements and the year: New tires - 2005.A new starter - 2012.Glass masters installed a new back window that was broken in 2013.New axle lines and fittings, spark plugs, alternator, U joints, front rotors and pads, outer and inner tie rods, stabilizer, shackle, hub bearings and sleeve with alignment in 2013.New exhaust and muffler in 2014.New belt, tensioner, and compressor in 2014 and air conditioner was serviced.Rear shocks were installed in 2015.Therma-stat, seal, radiator cap and coolant was replaced in 2015.The original bed was replaced in 2015 with a 99 Dodge bed purchased from South Carolina. (Our mail lady slid on some ice in our driveway and hit the back of our truck while it was parked) Except for the transmission having a slow leak, everything else was in good working condition until our motor decided to give us problems. We think it either threw a rod or a bearing and may need replaced. We found used motors between $400-$500. We were in need of a truck immediately and didn't have time to repair this one so we are selling it as is. It will need towed and picked up at our home.
