Specifications: 2002 GMC Savana G-3500 Van, SL Extended 15-Passenger, Single Front Axle, Single Rear Axle, GM 5.7 Liter (350CID) V-8 Gas Engine, Automatic Transmission, Hydraulic Brakes, Front & Rear Air Conditioning/Heat, AM/FM Stereo, Cruise Control, Manual Windows, Manual Locks, Manual Vinyl Seats, Rubber Floor, Rear Side Entry/Exit Door, Rear Luggage Door, GVWR - 9,500#, GAWR Front – 4,300#, GAWR Rear – 6,084#, LT245/75R16 Tires, VIN:1GJHG39R321179349, 149,913 Miles, Unit #MV-30. This van until about a week ago was owned by a local government operated mental health center, they recently replaced it and several more vans with new ones because of age & miles, not because of problems/issues, used by the center since new here in Mississippi. They received the new vans about a year ago and this unit has sat idle not being used since then! We purchased it directly from the government agency along with several more vans, not from a dealer, broker or auction. After purchasing we checked all fluids and found an oil leak so transported it on a trailer to our shop/warehouse for repair, cleaning and photos, oil leak was coming from the sending unit which was replaced! The engine and transmission run and shift properly, brakes are good, engine and transmission are strong, air conditioning is blowing but not cold, compressor kicking in an out, attempted to add freon but system not working properly, will need some a/c work, may get it working properly otherwise the complete a/c kit with compressor/drier/orifice tube/oil/seals is around $150 on eBay, paint is chipped/faded in several spots, body has several dings, dents and scratches, you can also see impression where the agency decals/sticker were on the van, a body part is missing on the back driver’s side rear corner, several spots on the interior a little rough, torn/ripped. Please remember the van is well over 10 years old, has been serviced and maintained properly on a schedule although it has been driven by a government employee that wasn’t concerned about keeping it looking new, it has over 100k miles on it, not a new van and will probably need a little TLC, maintenance and repairs every now and then but good cheap transportation for a large crew!
