I am selling one of my XJS Convertibles. I have recently upgraded to an XK8 so no longer have use for the XJS. This was my daily driver until late last year and has always been very reliable. The car was repainted approx. 3 years ago. All dents were fixed, car was block sanded, mirror smooth. Front bumper cover was removed and lower section repaired. Not only was it repaired but an aluminum bar was bonded to the back side of the lower air dam to help prevent it from being damaged. As I said, this was my daily driver so the paint isn't perfect anymore. There is a chip on the front of the hood and a 1/2" line on the driver side quarter panel where the buffer wheel bit into the paint during polishing. Mechanically, the engine uses very little oil. I normally don't need to add any oil between oil changes. Car doesn't leak any fluids and should pass any smog tests. Where I live in Nevada, we do not have to do smog tests but the Check Engine light is not on so system should be functioning properly. Seat covers were replaced about 4 years ago with leatherette covers. These were not slip on covers, the old covers were removed and the new ones installed. Car includes the factory full size spare, convertible top cover and custom car cover. Factory floor mats are also included but have a few stains and such. They can probably be cleaned up, I've never worried about it. Car can be driven anywhere, buy today and drive it home tomorrow. I will be happy to help with arranging transportation but all transportation costs are the buyer's responsibility.
