Used 1993 Honda Accord EX in very good condition cosmetically. Well maintained. All maintenance records. Passed CT emissions last time it was tested. High mileage, mostly highway miles. Engine runs perfectly. Almost new timing belt, water pump, belts, and tune-up. Auto transmission, power locks and windows. Moon roof works great and does not leak. Cloth interior. Excellent car for a mechanic who can fix its mechanic problems. Recently spent over $2,000.00 on it for my daughter's last year in medical school in DC. We are the second owners of this car. Does have some mechanical issues:1. No AC. Was removed 2 years ago when old evaporator clogged. Since it used R-12, my mechanic recommended removing it or replacing it with an all new system. We decided to remove it.2. Transmission just started to get slow at times. May need adjustment, rebuilding or replacing.3. Very rarely, it has only happened 2 or 3 times in all the years we have owned it, it will not start. My mechanic says it has something to do with the factory installs alarm system and only Honda can fix it. Or he suggested we just live with it and we have. Seems odd to me but my mechanic says he has seen it before. I never consider it a real problem since it very rarely happens.4. Windshield cracked this past winter. This was my daughter's car since high school and she just graduated from medical school in May 2015. She decided she wanted something else. However, since is so good overall, if I don't sell it here I will repair it and drive it as my 3rd car. I have mixed feeling about letting it go after spending $2,000.00+ on it. But my daughter doesn't want it and I really don't need a 3rd car. I probably should have washed it and vacuumed it before I listed it but what you see is what you get.
