Vehicle Detail
1970 International Scout 800 A Up for auction is my 1970 Scout 800-A in great running and driving condition. This beautiful Scout is RUST FREE. It has a newly installed V8 345 engine with less than 40,000 miles on it - along with a 4 speed manual transmission and 4x4. New clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, clutch cable, rebuilt master cylinder, new hoses and belts, new carpet, new weather stripping on doors, fresh paint. Gauges all work including both fuel tanks. It has original seats in good condition. Has a posi-trac rear differential. The factory hard top is fully removable and an aftermarket soft top or bikini top easily installs in its place! It is almost impossible to find a Scout 800, not to mention a late-model 800-A or 800-B in this condition. The body on this Scout is in truly amazing, rust free condition. It does have a couple of dents, the most noticeable of which is in the passenger side rear end cap. An attempt to repair this dent was made when the Scout was painted, but it doesn't look perfect - as shown in the pictures. The Scout runs and drives beautifully and is ready to cruise! The interior has been restored to factory-like condition and looks awesome! As with any 45+ year old vehicle, it is not perfect and without flaws. That said, you would be hard pressed to find one in better condition! Please feel free to email with any questions. A $500 deposit is due via PayPal at auction end, with the residual balance due via cashier's check or wired funds within 3 days of auction end. Thanks for looking!
