My grandfather paid $28,438 as shown on the window decal in the photo section. Although my grandmother loved the look of her new Acura (or spaceship as she called it), she was not up to the challenge of learning the bells and whistles that come with purchasing a new car; however, she thoroughly enjoyed being a passenger in this Acura. My grandmother drove the Acura for three months before deciding that it was time to rely on my grandfather and her friends as her form of transportation. It's worth noting that both of my grandparents swear by Acura and have driven only Acura's for as long as I can remember. The Acura has 2,387 miles on the odometer, which for the most part were logged by my grandfather and me. Unfortunately, my grandfather struggles with many day to day tasks and the idea of having to sell the Acura that he just purchased was a very daunting task for him; therefore, in February, 2015 I purchased the Acura from my grandfather and told him that I would sell it for him. I flew down to Jacksonville, Florida in February, 2015 to drive the Acura to my climate controlled car garage, located in Buffalo, New York. Upon arriving, I had the Acura professionally detailed and serviced; the service included wheel alignment check, oil change service and top-off of all fluids. This car has been rated by Kelley Blue Book to be in "Excellent Condition" and it still has the new car smell! KBB has appraised this Acura ILX on October 6, 2015 at over $20,000.
