Up for sale is my 2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor - 120948 Miles - 981 Idle hours Car has factory order code 750A-POL INTR 327 - True police model built by Ford Motor Company. Standard options included: 1. Heavy duty shock absorbers 2. Heavy duty sway bars 3. Frame reinforcements 4. Engine idle meter 5. Driver/passenger air bags 6. Power steering 7. Dual exhaust 8. Heavy duty battery 9. Power door/locks 10. Window express down 11. Power driver lumbar 12. Anti-lock brakes 14. Light bar connector Car has factory equipment tag GOVT PO# RPN-N-AH622. This car was originally ordered through the General Services Administration and purchased by the District of Columbia Metropolitan Police Department. This car has been assigned to 1 Chief of Police out of District Two. Car has been driven throughout the District of Columbia area as well as Maryland for the last nine years. This car has a very high option list that was tailored specifically to those not involved in routine patrol. Please do your research when buying these cars as many sellers are starting to use the terms "detective" and "supervisor" to make it seem as though their car has not been abused or used for patrol work. There are tell tale signs that clearly show otherwise. Optional equipment includes: 1. Remote Keyless Entry w/o Pad 2. Front License Plate Bracket 3. 3.27 Ratio-Axle (Trac-Lok) 4. AM/FM Stereo w/ cassette 5. Traction Control 6. Power Adjustable Pedals 7. Driver/Passenger Side Air Bags 8. Cloth buckets/Cloth rear seats 9. Factory courtesy light The following paragraphs will describe the condition and performance of my car: Exterior: Car has paint code (UA) Black clearcoat. Paint is very nice and has a deep shine. Majority of paint is the factory original paint w/ the exception of the passenger side rear door. This car does NOT have the typical c-pillar paint peel or the door moulding paint peel found on southern cars. Overall, the paint shows little wear. There are a few scratches here and there that cannot be picked up in the pictures. As far as imperfections go, there is a 1"x .2" paint chip above the front driver door, a .1"x.1" chip on the left side of rear bumper cover, some scuffing on the top of the rear bumper, a .5" in diameter paint blister on the passenger side rear door, a .25"x.25" chip on the passenger rear door (touched-up) and a 3" ghost lince circle from a previously mounted GPS antenna. This car still has a functioning motorola cellular antenna that can be hooked up and used. There is also a .75" hole that has been plugged from the GPS antenna. Both the antenna and plug are on the trunk lid - The roof has NEVER been drilled through for antennas or lightbars. All chrome is in good shape and is NOT peeling or pitted. Side windows and rear windshield have 30% ceramic window tint. It is dark enough to let the glaring sun die down but light enough you can still decipher objects at night. The front windshield has been replaced once and has no tint. This car did have a windshield suction mounted led light - There are no holes from the light but 2 small indentations at the very edge of the headliner, you must be looking right up at it to notice it. All doors have a soft-heavy feeling when they close and you can tell how well the car has been taken care of. The quarter panel dog legs do NOT have the typical rust/paint issue fromt he rear doors banging against the body. Rear doors open from the inside out as well. Passenger side rear door could be moved back about 1/8" to be perfectly aligned. All lights are clear with no cracks or pitting. This car has not had the lights drilled through for strobe lights. Interior: Car has factory interior code (HN) Black/Gray 50/50 Cloth. Car has NEVER had a cage or center console. Not used for routine patrol. There are ZERO holes on the dash. This car has not been pulled apart and mismatched to look like a good car inside. Many sellers will take a car and get used interior pieces to make it look as though it has always been that way - Don't be fooled! Driver seat has no tears or rips, no typical hinge tear in the cushion/cover and looks new. Passenger seat is near flawless. Rear seat is nearly new and has the soft grain look from when it was brought out from the factory. Overtime, many people clean these seats too much and the vinyl gets a bad gloss sheen to it.. Flooring has almost no color age at all - zero wear spots. There is a 3" stress tear on the edge of the flooring below the passenger seat - You need to be looking for it to find it. There are ZERO holes or rips. B-pillars do not have any cutouts and there is no cage ridge in the headliner. Front door panels do not have the typical pull/wear on the handle area. This car does have the factory soundoff signal red led/white dome light. It works perfectly. Trunk is very clean but has some fade to the fabric. Mechanical: This car has NO mechanical defects. It accelerates fast, corners aggressively with minimal body-roll and stops the moment the brakes are pressed. Transmission is smooth and there are no hesitations between shifts. Every change can be heard but not felt. Ride is very smooth. This car has been in the District of Columbia and Maryland for the majority of its life and was included in the steering shaft recall. The recall has been performed and the car steers like new. This car has the factory 3.27 trac-lok differential. It is a true trac-lok system with the 3.27L code on the differential tag, S-spring, and X5 code on the door jam sticker! Be VERY careful when people say their car has trac-lok - very few cars really have it. If a car has the Z5 code, it does NOT have trac-lok Acceleration is very quick off the line and car feels as though it has more torque than cars with the standard 3.27. This car only has 981 idle hours!!! Very very low as this car was used for a lot of driving and no sitting. You will NOT find another in this shape with this amount of options and condition. It is priced above book value as this is what the market is producing. Electrical / Safety: All electrical items on this car work as they should. There are NO defects. Every light works and every instrument works. Heat is HOT and a/c is COLD. Blower works on all levels with no hesitation. Radio signal is strong. All windows and locks work flawlessly. *What is different about this car is that is has been inspected by the local Ford dealer. Any codes or issues have been checked and fixed. many seller will disregard the issues unless the seller absolutely presses an issue. All dash lights come on and return to normal with the ignition ON/engine OFF and ignition ON/engine ON. There are ZERO surprises with this car. Maintenance / Service History Prior to myself owning the car, it was maintained every 3000 miles by the fleet division and typically by the local Ford dealer. It has also had transmission services every 30,000 miles. Since I have owned the car, I have had it maintained on a 5000 mile basis. The most recent service was performed last month in preparation for the 120,000 mile service check. Recent service included: 1. 8 Motorcraft spark plugs 2. Clean coil plugs 3. Air filter 4. Oil filter 5. Oil flush 6. Transmission fluid check/top-off 7. Coolant flush/replace 8. Refrigerant evac/replace 9. Oil cooler lines 10. Wiper blades 11. Fuel filter 12. Differential fluid change 13. Left side catalytic converter Front brakes are at 90% Rear brakes are just under 100% Wheels / Tires / Spare / Undercarriage Wheels have been professionally prepped and repainted in black gloss inside AND out. All wheel weights were removed and put back on for proper painting. All hubcaps have the blue Ford logos still intact. Tires are pursuit rated goodyear eagle rs-a 235/55/17. All tires have 80% with no plugs or patches. Spare tire is a nearly new full size goodyear eagle rs-a 235/55/17. It has only been on the ground a few miles and has the prickly mold marks and factory paint marks on wheel and tire. Spare tire does have 1-patch in the tread from a nail. Underside of car is very neat and clean. There are ZERO leaks on this car. No heavy grease or grime built-up anywhere on this car. This car does NOT have the typical power steering box leak and the front cross member is very clean. **Be VERY careful of people who say there car has no rust. The differential housing on these car were never painted from the factory and will ALWAYS have some surface rust on them. So even southern cars will have some sort of rust on them. Aside from the differential housing, the frame rails, swaybars, springs, and shocks all have the factory paint marks and date tags. Clean & Clear Ohio title 1 - Owner CarFax Clean history with only 1 prior accident Car is OBDII/LVII certified and CAN be sold in California and smogged. There is a immense amount of paperwork that comes with the car such as: Title, Bill of Sale, 10+ pages of maintenance, CarFax, window sticker and warranty paperwork on many Ford parts. Original manuals will also be included with the car. Please note: Window stickers are now only available for 2007+ models. I have modified an original to show what the factory sticker would have looked like. I will also be including the title from the District of Columbia to show it truly was assigned to the Metropolitan Police Department.
