2008 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 Crew Cab with TRD Package. Heavily modified the right way ! You are viewing one of the best equipped Tacoma's up for sale. She is in great shape despite a few nicks and scratches (see pictures), but the black metallic paint has great depth and shine to it still (recently waxed and polished for the fall). I bought this truck for my son this last spring, but due to orders and not being able to take more than two vehicles, we are selling his and keeping our larger truck. We are the third owners with the second only being a dealer who purchased to sell, not driven. Details of the truck: -See original window sticker for base features, which all still work except trip computer as it was disconnected for place where ARB light switches are emplaced (see pictures) -It is currently riding on 34.4" x 12.4" mud tires (315 x 70/17R) on XD Revolver rims Lifted for great flex and durability (Toytec Ultimate with Light Racing UCAs):-Front lift is King Coils (with Reservoirs), Light Racing Upper Control Arms.-Rear lift is All Pro Expo leaf pack (9 thin leaves for smooth ride with capacity and great flex with military wrap), Bilstein 5100s in the rear. Body Armor (everything done to protect the underbelly and facilitate smooth flat bed pan for the rocks).-Armor Tech Offroad (ATO) IFS skid plate.-ATO transfer skid plate.-ATO gas tank skid plate.-ATO transmission skid plate.-All Pro Rock sliders (stylish yet bullet proof and tied to frame). Bumpers are some of the best made for protection and looks:-ATO Hybrid Bumper with integrated winch (Smittybuilt XRC8) and two sets of lights.-ATO High-Clearance rear bumper with integrated full-size Tire Carrier Drivetrain:-Stock 4.0 Toyota V6, which means longevity and no-issues reliability. 70,000 miles and she runs perfect as expected of a Toyota.-Has Nitro Cut 4.56 gears with ARB lockers front and rear with on-board compressor located in engine bay.-AFE Pro Dry Air Filter with Safari Snorkel.-Thrush muffler that gives it a throaty sound, but not obnoxious. Interior:-Wet Okole Seat Covers (driver's is worn in spot, please see pics).-Pioneer AVH-P4300 DVD head unit (great touch screen unit that will accept back-up camera).-WeatherTech floor liners (best kind for keeping the interior clean)-ARB switches installed in key locations for access (Front LED flood, Front 240 Blitz Spot, Rear LED back-up, ARB front, ARB rear, ARB compressor, and Winch in/out switch).-Wired for CB radio.-LED lights for interior cab.-Overall, great shape on interior and best of all, it is Toyota, so it all works as it should. -Other items worth noting:-Extended brake lines front and back.-Extended differential breathers (located up in engine compartment for front and in bed box door for rear).-Auxillary fuse box near battery for all added electrical accessories.-Shorty flexible radio antennae.-BestTop Soft Topper (great versatile top which gives bed coverage yet still folds up quick for full-bed use. Sides and back also roll-up for having a dog in back.-ATO Antenna Mount.-Smittybuilt XRC8 (8,000 winch with synthetic rope).-Lightforce 240 Blitz spot lights.-Monster 60 LED flood lights.-Has the body mount modification for front for tire clearance.-Bushwacker Pocket Fender Flares all around for tire clearance.-Exhaust was routed professionally for clearance with ATO skid plates.-HID headlights (slim ballasts).-Gas struts for hood (see pics), but this makes it so hood lifts and stays up.-Hood vent is modified to allow cool air in and heat out (important for when rock crawling at slow speeds). I can't really say enough about the way this truck was put together. Nothing extravagant, just the best of what is necessary to make it extremely capable and reliable beyond the beaten path. What else you will like about this truck is that it drives straight and without wobble of any kind even when going down the interstate at 75mph. The tires are a little loud given the mud terrain pattern. It gets about 14 miles per gallon around town but will go down to about 12 mpg on the interstate at 70-75 mph. I also have a link to the build so you can see the progression of the truck's modifications (I liked having this when I bought it because I knew how it was done and with right level of care).
