Vehicle Detail

Just finished, frame on 1967 Camaro. This restoration was completed on a rust free body, and no rust thru underside. It was stored inside for 15 years when I found it, looking like it was just parked. I took it to a professional restoration shop, had it stripped, then repainted in triple black base coat-clear coat. It was originally black, so I had it reproduced exactly as it was, replacing all badging with Super Sport badging. The 124 VIN code indicates this was an original V-8 car, although it now has a different 350 engine, built to 350 H.P. and has it's original M-21 Muncie 4 speed. This car is shocking to drive. It has a 12 bolt Chevy posi rear end, with additional traction bars installed, and hammering it through the gears is a real treat. I've had over 100 muscle cars in my 60 years, and I can honestly say this car is FAST. I've heard claims of cars getting rubber in all four gears, but have never owned one, until this Camaro. It has a 12 bolt Chevy rear end set up with 4:10 rear end gears, and just begs to go to the drag strip, although it was built for the street. I've been running regular gas in it and it does just fine. It doesn't have a big wild cam, but just enough to give it an incredibly awesome sound. It has a medium high rise aluminum intake with 750 CFM carb. It is just a blast to drive, and if you want a small block Chevy that will not only win car show trophies, but also stun the big block cars your friends drive, this is the car you want. I guarantee it will shock you when you drive it. I've put around 1000 miles on the engine since I've had it, have changed oil twice, and it is broken in and ready to go. I have 396 Chevelles, 455 cars, and believe it or not, this little Camaro will beat them in a quarter mile. With the 4 speed, this car is a blast to drive, and makes you feel like a kid again. Anyway, back to the car. The triple black base coat clear coat paint came out looking awesome. Even the white stripes were painted on. No decals here. It is flawless. It has a complete new deluxe interior exactly as it was born with. New seats, carpet, headliner, pedal rubbers with chrome trim, door sills, door carpet, etc. The dash is original, with no cracks in the dash pad. The door handles are all original, and do have some pitting. I also never never replaced the chrome windshield or back window trim. They looked good enough to me, but in hindsight I probably should have bought new door handles and window cranks, as the car would then look new. I think a complete set is less than $200. It does have a new professionally installed windshield. I also installed a new front lower faring, new aftermarket bumpers, all new badging, new fan shroud, new engine paint, new air cleaner, the list goes on and on. The car is gorgeous, and straight as an arrow. There was no rust to begin with so there is no bondo. The engine bay is very clean and tidy. The heater hoses have been eliminated, as it was never expected to be driven in the winter, although they can be reinstalled easily enough if you want them. The trunk has no rust through, but could stand some spray on coating. It has a brand new original 67 Camaro style thick plastic trunk pad. Also it has new rubber trunk weather stripping. Even the window weather stripping was replaced with new. The 15 inch rally wheels are not new, but are in excellent condition, and the tires have about 1000 miles on them. The Camaro doesn't have power steering or brakes, but drives easily and stops quickly. All I can say is this car is in excellent condition, stunning in appearance, and heart stopping fast. What else could you ask for in a 60s muscle car! A lot of blood, sweat, tears, and money have gone into this car. But mostly money. I have a very fair reserve on this car. I have described it as honestly as I can. I guarantee it will burn rubber in all four gears, or you don't have to buy it. BUT, I get to do the driving. After you stop shaking I'll take payment, and you can take possession of the car and title. I do not use paypal. I will require $1000 down payment within 3 days of the end of the auction, and full payment within 7 business days. I accept cashiers checks, wire transfers from your bank to mine, or cash if you're picking it up within 7 day. I can store it for up to 30 days if required, but it will need to be paid in full within 7 days. If you need it shipped to you, I can arrange shipping, but buyer will be responsible for all shipping charges. If you are overseas, I can have it delivered to the port of your choice. I have experience in shipping to almost all states, and overseas. I have references in the United States, England, Australia, and a few other countries, and can supply references if needed. I also like vintage motorcycles and other muscle cars, so bartering is not out of the question. Just email or call with any questions or suggestions. I will entertain any offers. I am always looking for more classic vehicles, so don't be afraid to ask. My name is Richard and you can call or text anytime at 567-295-9060 I am located 1 hour south of Toledo Ohio or 1 hour north of Dayton Ohio, just off Interstate 75. I will be listing other classic cars and bikes as time permits, so check back often. Thank you for looking at my Camaro, and reading my long description. May God bless you all, and keep all safe. Please keep those classic cars on the road. They won't make any more. And DRIVE them. It's more fun than pulling them around on a trailer. Peace! On Oct-01-15 at 07:15:51 PDT, seller added the following information: Anyone with zero feedback will need to call me at 567-295-9060 before bidding. The last three cars I listed were won by zero feedback users, who never paid, nor lasted long as ebay members. Ebay officials are now tracking these three. Charges have been filed. This gives Ebay a bad reputation, and they will not take kindly to any person committing fraud on my account again. Thank you
