Vehicle Detail

Beautifully restored 1957 Chevy 210 post. This car was a body off restoration about 5 years ago by the previous owner, and I have owned it ever since. I have historical tags on it, which in Ohio allows me to drive it only to car shows and events, and limited miles. It has been driven about 10,000 miles since being restored, and shows 63,984 on the odometer, although I have no idea if that is actual mileage. The odometer may have already went around once. But that matters not as it has been totally redone, and does not have the original engine or transmission. It now has a 350 Chevy engine mated to a 350 Turbo transmission. I was told it was from a 1969 Corvette, although I've never cared to trace any numbers. The car has been totally care free for me since the day I bought it, and is still in the same condition as the day I bought it, and runs just as good as the day I bought it. It never leaks or uses any oil. It has been upgraded with power steering and power front disc brakes. The car handles beautifully, like a modern car. It also has tilt steering with new Grand steering wheel. The interior is all done in black leather, and rides extremely well. This is a 210 model, 2 door post. They are becoming extremely more sought after now that the prices for hard tops are going through the roof. This one attracts a lot of attention every where I go. It has a gorgeous paint job, which has held up extremely well. This car is all steel. No bondo in this car anywhere. The original fenders were rechromed. Most if not all of the trim was replaced with new quality aftermarket parts, which still looks practically new. There is no rust starting anywhere on this car. It has never been driven in the rain since restored, and is always up on jacks for winter storage in heated garage. The headers and dual exhaust run all the way out the back, with chrome tips, and the whole exhaust is still in very good condition. The car sounds awesome, drives like a dream, and is nice enough that I win trophies at almost all the local car shows. It's not a concourse quality car, but I am not selling it as such, nor asking more than it's worth. I have quite a few muscle cars, and am thinning the herd just a little. I'm always looking for more, or willing to barter, so please email, text, or call. I also like vintage motorcycles, so let me know what you have. I don't know what else to say about the car. For the price I am asking, in my opinion anyway, I think I have it priced low enough that someone is going to be very happy. I'm easy to deal with. You will love the way this car looks, runs, and drives. Guess I forgot to say it has new Crager rims and new tires. Back brakes are drum. Front are power disc. Engine and engine bay are very clean. And almost forgot, it has a 10 disc CD player mounted in the trunk, with amp, and it is loud and has an awesomely great sound. This is a 4 speaker system. I put in some 60s music, crank it up, and am instantly transported back in time. This car will do that to you. As far as payment, I do not use paypal, so I will need a $1,000 deposit within 3 days via a bank to bank wire transfer or overnight bank cashiers check, or if you have a better method, that will be fine. If you are picking the car up within 7 days, I'll expect the balance in cash. If you need more time to pick it up, that's ok, as I can store it for 30 days. BUT, I will still expect full payment within 7 days of end of auction. If you need it delivered, I can arrange insured shipping anywhere in the United States. Buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs. If you are not in the United States, I can have the car delivered to the port of your choice, safely, securely, and insured. I will help in every way I can. I have sold vintage motorcycles and cars since 1999, and have had to ship most of them, with nary a complaint. I have references in the United States, England, Australia, and Japan, so you can bid with confidence. Just ask if you need references in your area. I used to go by Motorcycle Missions, but thanks to some unscrupulous competitors when I only sold vintage bikes, I had to change my ID, and ultimately lost about 300 positive feedbacks. You can call or text me anytime at 567-295-9060 My name is Richard. I will also be listing other classic cars as I get time, so check back often. I have a clear Ohio title on my 57. We notarize titles here in Ohio, and I can have it notarized without the buyer present. All I need is the name that will go on the title. I know I'm missing something, as I always do, so email any questions and I will answer all. Thank you for reading my ad and looking at my car. May God bless you all. Drive safe, and keep those old cars on the road. They will never make another classic car. On Sep-22-15 at 06:54:44 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: I meant the bumpers were re-chromed, not the fenders, obviously. Also, forgot to mention it has air shocks on the back. I like the stance of the high rear end, but it can be leveled out or you can even let most of the air out to have a lowered rear end. It rides great no matter how much air is in the shocks. This car really does drive very nice. Everything is still tight, so there is no wandering of the front end. It's effortless driving. Makes a big difference versus a 57 without power steering and brakes. Just put it in gear and go. It's so dependable I wouldn't be afraid to drive it to California and back any time. And I can't say enough about the sound quality at high volume of the stereo. You will love it. And one other important thing about this car. The seats, door panels, and headliner are oh so easy to keep clean. Just a spray bottle of Armor All and a clean rag is all you need. And the black carpet is still like new. As for wax, all I have ever used is spray wax. It's all this paint needs to sparkle. And lastly, almost forgot again, the windows have been professionally tinted, all but the windshield. It's a light tint, and you can't even tell they're tinted unless the sun is shining bright. OK, I think I've covered everything now. Thank you, Richard
