Vehicle Detail
Selling my Tundra pickup, which I have owned for four years. It had been a trade-in at my local Toyota dealer in Huntsville, Alabama. I bought it to pull a travel trailer occasionally. I did have a couple of trailers and actually sold the last one a year and a half ago. So I don't need the full-size truck anymore, but I just haven't been anxious to sell it because this is the nicest vehicle I have. These trucks are so nice and comfortable! I have to let it go, however. I now have two other (small) Toyota pickups and two SUVs. This truck was equipped with the largest engine option, the 381-hp 5.7 liter V8. It's really nice. With its factory tow package, this particular truck has a tow rating of 10,800 lbs. I never towed anything that heavy, but my last travel trailer was a 31-ft Airstream that weighed about 7700 lbs, and the Tundra pulled it with no trouble at all. For reference though, I never really became an active RV enthusiast. I've put 34,000 miles total on the truck and I would say that no more than 1500 of those were towing a travel trailer. Probably another 2000 miles were spent towing one of my other vehicles on my flatbed car trailer. It's also a stable and safe towing vehicle with ABS, traction control and vehicle stability control. All systems are working properly. There are no mechanical or electrical issues with the truck. It just completed its 90,000 mile service at Bill Penney Toyota in Huntsville, Alabama. As for cosmetics, there are a few dents and scratches. It's very clean overall, but it isn't a show truck, so I just wanted to make that clear. I've tried to show the dents and scratches in the photos. Also, the LCD display on the stereo has a clear plastic lens over it which has some partial frosting. It makes it a little harder to read the frequency the radio is tuned to. The panel was just like that when I bought the truck; I don't know what might have happened to cause that. The Bridgestone tires were new when I bought the truck, so they have about 34,000 on them. I just realized I didn't take pictures of the treads, but the tires are not worn out. These have been excellent tires with no issues whatsoever. I definitely would buy them again. The bed is coated with Line-X bedliner. I would prefer to let the auction run to completion, without a Buy It Now. Also, I would prefer not to disclose the reserve, but I believe it is very fair. Any other questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks for looking.
