NOTE: Yes, this motorcycle was listed for sale last week, and then ended early (yesterday). I apologize for that, and for any inconvenience to you previous bidders; an unfortunate situation. Again, I apologize. So again, here is my bike! 1981 HONDA C70 Passport For auction is my Very Clean 1981 HONDA C70 Passport. This bike has just had a complete tune-up and service. It starts easily, runs well, and operates properly. It is completely street legal and has a clear Ohio Title in my name. This motorcycle has an automatic clutch and is very easy to operate. It has only 3700 original miles. This bike, and another yellow one just like it, were purchased new together by an elderly couple for vacation riding. They were last licensed in the 1980s, and have been inside ever since. This one was last licensed in 1988. This motorcycle is in very nice condition. It starts easily, and runs well. All of the lights and horn work properly. The seat is in excellent condition, with no scuffs or tears. The paint is very nice, and the chrome is bright. Look closely at the photos; the hardware on this bike is very nice and clean and bright. See the photos taken while the fairing was off to see just how clean this bike is. ( see detailed photos). The motor runs strong, and shifts smoothly. Along with the above mentioned tune-up, it has a new OEM Yuasa Battery, not one of the cheap ones, as well as new sparkplug and oil. This bike is all ready to ride and enjoy! The electric starter motor works fine, and the starter button works fine, but the starter solenoid needs replaced. As stated, the starter motor works fine if the solenoid is jumped. I never bothered to replace the solenoid since it starts so easily with the kick starter; only one kick, possibly two. This auction also includes the front basket and original mounting hardware, but I did not get them in the photo. As stated, this bike is remarkably clean. However, it is 35 years old and will have some marks, light scratches, and signs of use here and there. The front rim has a little rust. The muffler has some light scratches, but no rash or dents. If you are not able to pick up this motorcycle at my location, and plan to have it shipped, you will need to make your own shipping arrangements.
