Up for auction is a 1963 Ford Galaxie 2 door hardtop 406 clone. I have owned this car for about 4 years and it is a great cruiser. I have done nothing to it since I have owned it except had the gas tank professionally clean and put 3 new carbs on it from Carls Ford Parts, he specializes in the 2 barrel holley carb. This Galaxie has the correct manifolds and the tri power set up on, although it has a 390 with a automatic transmission. Overall its a great car, but will need a full restoration to do it right or you could drive it the way it is. At some point someone must have tried to restore it as it is starting to show. The body has various bubbles on the roof and rear quarters, mostly on the drivers side lower quarter. The floors have been patch as well as the trunk floor. The bumpers were rechromed at some point as long as the top fender spears. The interior will need carpet and kick panels and one sail panel light lense is broke. Wheels and tires are 15 inch and are fairly new, they were on it when I got it. I have this car for sale locally and have the right close auction at any time, will take offers. Questioned by others this is an x code car that came with a 352, the valve covers do not say thunderbird on them and the vin so they assume it is a 352 because of these factors. I was told by previous owner that it was a 390 so that's what it is listed as. Again any questions please ask.
