1979 Jeep CJ7. Arizona Jeep mechanically rebuilt in 2001 with little to no rust. The frame and floor panels are in great shape. Ranked among the best model year of the CJ7s, this Jeep has the rare and rugged T-18 4-speed manual transmission with “granny gear”. Front disc brakes. Model 20 rear axle was changed out for a rebuilt Dana 44. Engine with new clutch was rebuilt in January of 2000 and has less than 3000 miles on it. Almost $2,500 worth of receipts in repairs and improvements. All new electrical, new Weber carburetor. Almost everything under the hood as well as Michelin tires, brakes, U-joints, bearings and motor/trans. mounts was replaced/rebuilt in 2000 and has less than 3000 miles on it. Has hood lock and battery power feed switch. Jeep currently cranks but does not run because of no spark. Likely the ignition module needs to be replaced which is an easy fix. Otherwise it runs and drives good. No top is included with this Jeep. Right rear fender damage as pointed out in picture but is covered with chrome quarter panel. Odometer was replaced at time of rebuild. Must sell. Perfect project Jeep looking for an owner that can give it some TLC. Current owner purchased the vehicle in Nov 1999. Title is clear.
