1966 Ford Mustang Vin 6R07T126614 Assembly plant - San Jose, California Body codes - 07 Hardtop , Engine Code - T I6 200 CID 1V ( CID cubic inch displacement ) , Unit # 126614 This is a 1966 mustang Coupe sprint 200 Automatic. Overall interior is 9 out of 10 Seats have been reupholstered using Cj Pony set. Paint is 8 out of 10. mechanically perfect. Everything works as it should. You can get in and drive this car anywhere and use it as a daily driver. Purchased the car from the original owner making me the second owner all information listed is described to the best of my knowledge please see car in person and test drive if serious about buying. Engine: *The following is all brand new . Engine 63,798 miles with 150xx on chassis. Pics to show engine rebuilt ( cell phone pics of old Polaroids ) . Original motor rebuilt in 1980's, Driven for 50,000 then garaged since . Driven on weekend cruises when weather is nice and summer car shows. ---I have a folder full of reciepts from myself and the original owner of purchases and maintenance records . The following is new Battery Alternator Water Pump Thermostat Plugs , wires , ignition points and condenser Belt Fuel Filter Heater Hoses Air Filter with new style air cleaner assembly All battery wiring with new harness clips on engine harness CJ pony seats CJ pony floor boards , rear quarter panel patch with trunk drop down panel -$1k in repairs. (Photos to prove actual repairs were done - no funny business here . I have more than 50 photos of before and after repairs ) I am also throwing in for free. 2 full quarter panels and 1 fender if you would need these in the future or for another mustang project. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Body/Mechanical: *The following is new unless otherwise noted. Wheel Cylinders Brake Shoes Transmission filter & fluid , adjustment nut seals , dip stick tube Kick down shifter seal and o-ring Trunk kit ----- Bad: Exterior trim showing pitting on chrome door handles , Pea size rust bubbles beginning to form on lower right hand corner of drivers door , water channel drains on d/s & p/s have formed rust bubbles. ( Pics upon request ) , Transmission front seal is beginning to sweat only in long drives will you notice seepage by the bell housing. Interior: *The following is new unless otherwise noted Carpet is new, seats are clean with no rips or tears and were redone using CJ pony kit, headliner is in tack with no damage , Front dash showing signs of warpage have a dash mat installed and looks great, blower works in all modes , all gauges function as should, radio no mods made to dash and front kick panel speakers in place. I have original photos for the engine which was completely rebuilt some years ago but the car only drove for short while after the rebuild and has very low miles on it as you can see by removing the valve cover it looks brand new, It runs great and purrs quite nicely. Engine was degreased and wire brushed to remove all grit , dirt and rust scale . Any damaged areas have been repaired ( no bondo ) and chassis was primed then painted with chassis paint. Engine was repainted using ford blue engine paint recently to dress up. Odometer reads 160K. There is some slight paint chips on headlight extensions of the car but nothing is rotted or in need of repair. All exterior / cosmetic trim should be replaced if looking for show quality.
