Vehicle Detail

There is no place to put "no title". But, there is a requirement to put something in the "box". This bike is not a salvage or rebuilt or damaged, etc. It is ALL original. It just doesn't have a title. In Arkansas you don't need a title to license an antique motorcycle...only a Bill-of-Sale. Therefore, I never pursued getting a title. A bonding and title company recently titled a Harley Sprint for me for just under $100. This old bike has the greasy black bear look that I used to love as a kid. The cool thing about this bike is that you can ride it anywhere because it is mechanically sound, easy to start, etc. Once you arrive, this thing attracts more attention than a high-end custom bike. The crowd will gasp....not because of its pristine (not) beauty but because it starts on the first kick, belches out a moving wall of smoke and rides off effortlessly. The chrome (residue) will hurt you. It is truly "crusty", hence its nick-name "Old Crusty". I have truly enjoyed this old relic but I am retired and out of money. I have to trim down my motorcycle collection. I have two more of the Allstate 250 SGS's so I will still be in the game. Many people want an old bike to look like brand new. In order to restore a bike like this, you need to start with a complete bike. This is often a problem. Most of them are missing something. This bike is complete and original. An easy restoration......but I would NOT restore it. It is far too cool just like it is. It is a survivor and a road warrior, runs like a Swiss watch and is not beat up or rusted out (other than the chrome). The tail light framework has a crack and there is a small crack in the front fender. Other than that, the photos should tell the tale. If you want the bike shipped, you must make the arrangements and payments. I will help a shipper load it. I will also deliver the bike within the State of Arkansas for fuel cost. No crating or overseas shipping.
