I currently drive the Jetta, but it needs a transmission - on the interstate or at constant speeds it operates normally, but through gear changes up or down it periodically misses and jerks when gears do not engage so I pay close attention to RPM's when accelerating. It also needs basic brake work; the body (no rust), interior, and paint are all in fair/good condition; I am the second owner and purchased it from a family member; the car has been in two minor accidents with no engine compartment damage. The "faulty airbag" indicator light is illuminated; the passenger side rear tail light glass has a minor chip at the bottom that is barely noticeable. Headliner has begun to come loose at driver's side back rear corner. Some of the black covering on radio controls has begun to peel. I love this car but am not willing to replace the transmission in order to keep it in the family long-term.
