Vehicle Detail
This 1972 K5 Blazer is a Texas survivor with very little rust, and a clear Texas title! There are a couple of small rust bubbles on the bottom corners of the door skins, and the front floorboards had rust that was "repaired" by the previous owner with riveted patch panels and fiberglass filler. The rockers, rocker boxes, door bottoms, quarter panels, windshield frame, and rear floorboard are extremely solid!!! The original color was yellow, then it was painted blue, then red. I purchased the Blazer from the previous owner here in the Dallas area who owned it many years after purchasing it from someone in San Angelo, TX. I do not think this Blazer has ever lived in a cold climate area or near the coast where rust would be an issue. This 72 Blazer has the single wall hard top with the interior lamp. The top is in great shape, except the hatch has a hairline crack at the bottom near the handle and the hatch strikers are missing. Although it was running when I parked it, I have not tried to start it since 2008. IT IS NOT RUNNING!!! It has a V8 in it... I was told it is a 350, but I've never checked the numbers. It originally was a manual 3 speed on the column, but the shifter was moved to the floor. At one time it had aftermarket a/c, but the previous owner removed the system. The front driveshaft is disconnected, but its in the back and comes with the truck. The drivers door glass is chipped. Both rear tires are flat and will not hold air. This Blazer is a project, but it has great bones to start with!!!! Buyer is responsible for shipping / pick up. A $200.00 deposit is required within 48 hours after auction ends. Payment by Casheirs check or cash (in person). Cashiers check must clear with the bank before vehicle can be picked up. I'll be happy to answer any questions by email, or by phone (email me your name and number to receive a return phone call). Seller reserves the right to end the auction at any time. Thanks and happy bidding!!!
