1963 Mercury Monterey 2 Door HT, 390 4 barrel, Electric roll down back window that works, parking for smart car in the trunk, One owner barn fresh, has had a economy paint job some time in the past that looks good. No dents, scratches or chips or peeling. Shines OK. Runs and drives but not good enough for a long distance. Front brakes shoes, wheel cylinder, rubber hoses and master cylinder replaced. Back brakes need to be redone. I drove it to the local cruise in last week. It appears to be rust free, I have not been under it but can feel the lower quarters from inside the trunk. Also no bubbling in the paint. Rust on back bumper. It kind of sound like it is shipping when idling but not sure. Sounds like all cylinder have compression when turning it over. Probably need the carb rebuilt. Notice the bucket seats and console. Just a neat old original car.
