1966 FORD F350 TRUCK with hydraulic lift flatbed box. Faded red paint. 352 2bbl v8 with 4 spd manual trans. Starts well, runs and drives, and the brakes work. Blinkers and lights work. Heater fan motor works. Fuel gauge works. New fuel pump this spring. Good black vinyl seat. (couple rips on end..see pics). Padded vinyl dash has few cracks, but looks pretty good overall. No radio. Hoist works, but controls are stiff to operate. Steering is..well..its ok, but its an old truck thats almost 50 yrs old! Transmission has some bad grinding when you shift to first or reverse gear while engine is running. Has electronic ignition. Good battery. Exhaust manifold has one bolt broke off at head..drivers side..(there is a vice grips holding it currently). Flat bed has a steel covering over the wood deck..(homemade). Couple deck support purlings at the rear gettin thin due to typical rust. Outer fenders have been "patched" down at bottom..(see pics)Inner fenders good and solid. Cab floors have holes by the kick panels. Old carpet remnant and rubber mat pieces cover the floor. Windshield has wiper scuff on passenger side. Drivers side outside mirror glass has been cracked, but still functional. White painted grill is very decent, as is the front bumper. Turning light bezels are in great shape. There is a vintage Blackthorn Deer hood ornament on the old girl which will go with the truck. (not hooked up)... Has 3 cab lights of which only 1 works. Hey, this truck is almost 50 years old...so its going to have its share of wear and tear. I mainly only use this around the acerage, hauling brush, debris, etc..have only taken it out for a drive.. rarely, ..maybe 3 times this past summer, as the tires are good, but weather checked. Anyone interested in this should plan on hauling it home. Again, i emphasise,.. this truck is nearly 50 yrs old. This truck would be a good candidate for restoration, or rat rod, or just to use as is. Good clean up to date iowa title in my name. Truck being sold AS IS, ABSOLUTLEY NO REFUNDS. So ask any questions you may have well before auction close. There is a non refundable $500 deposit required immediately at auction close. The remaining balance due within 7 days, or buyer forfeits all rights to truck. Truck can stay here for up to 30 days to help buyer have time to make arrangements to pick it up if need be.
