1973 CHEVY NOVA SUPER SPORT HATCHBACKI AM SELLING A COUPLE OF MY PROJECTS I KNOW I CAN'T GET TO FOR AT LEAST A YEAR.THIS CAR WILL NEED TOTAL RESTORATION, BUT IS A TRUE #'S MATCHING SS WITH RARE 4 SPEED.BODY NEEDS NEW FLOORS, BECAUSE OF HATCHBACK LEAKING. I HAVE A NEW UNDER REAR SEAT PAN THAT GOES WITH ALONG WITH NEW HATCHBACK WEATHER STRIPPING. BUMPERS ARE REAL NICE. CAR ALSO COMES WITH TWO EXTRA DOORS WITH NICE DOOR PANELS AND A RIGHT ROCKER PANEL FROM ANOTHER CAR.ENGINE SOUNDS AND RUNS SMOOTH. WILL NEED TANK AND FUEL SYSTEM CLEANED. YOU COULD HOOK UP EXTERNAL TANK TO MOVE IT AROUND IF NEEDED. DUAL EXHAUST SOUNDS GOOD AND CAR HAS LIKE NEW TIRES WITH THE FACTORY RALLEY'S.THIS CAR IS WORTHY OF RESTORATION AND HAS ALOT GOING FOR IT. THE FLOOR ONLY HAS RUST WHERE THE WATER HAD LEAKED IN AND SETTLED. IT DOES NOT NEED A FULL FLOOR PAN. I WOULD JUST BUY THE FOUR INDIVIDUAL PANS AND ONLY USE THE BOTTOM SECTIONS THEY NEED. THESE WILL COST YOU LESS THAN $50.00 EA. I HAVE INCLUDED A FULL RIGHT ROCKER, BUT IT ONLY REALLY NEEDS A PATCH. I AM A BODYMAN / PAINTER WITH OVER 30 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. THIS IS HOW I WAS GOING TO REPAIR THIS CAR. UNLESS YOU HAVE TONS OF MONEY AND WANTED TO DO A CONCOURS RESTORATION ON IT, THESE ARE GOOD REPAIRS AND MAKE MORE SENCE FOR THIS CAR. THIS CAR IS WAY BETTER THAN ANYTHING YOU WILL FIND IN THE RUST BELT OF AMERICA!!!On Aug-24-15 at 19:40:22 PDT, seller added the following information: Dear mikenteri, this is about the Nova..how do you know for sure it's a true SS ? after 70 SS were just a trim package no way to run vin etc...I have had 14 nova I'm 54..a 73 or 74 SS should have the Tach were yours have the gas gauge also if it is a true SS it would also have the 4 pack gauges on the floor console. they only made 8,140 4 speeds that year, I know I have one . good luck - che-fqdbujqj Tach, gauges, bucket seats and stripes were all options. A lot of people think all SS cars had these, but they didn't. Take a look at Item #391235797442 a unrestored '73 SS one owner with 15k miles. It has NO tach or gauges! If your right than this car is not an SS either! One thing I know for sure is only SS cars had a blacked out tail panel and black grill. The black paint on my car is original. The SS steering wheel is original, dual sport mirrors, SS emblem holes, ralley wheels, and chrome air cleaner lid. I went to novaresource.org to decode engine. Engine VIN decodes as follows 1-chevy 3-year model W-willow run MI and digits 4-9 is serial # 258512. Engine application codes are as follows V-Flint MI 04 month (April) 30- 30th day of April CKB 350 4V (4 barrel) W/ 4 speed. I have not found a build sheet, but there is a chance there is one in the car or on top of fuel tank. Assembly line workers were supposed to through the build sheets away, but a lot of workers found it easier to put them under the carpet, in the seats, door panels , kick panels or under the dash etc. I have had a lot and still have SS cars. One is a rare '72 W code LS5 454 SS chevelle convertible with 2 build sheets and all #'s matching. It was ordered without a Tach, gauges, or SS stripes, it does however have buckets and console. You could get a SS with a column shift and bench seat too. This is a true SS car, if anyone out there doubts that, than bid accordingly. The car is going to sell to the highest bidder, and so far it is a bargain! There is a '73 green 4 door with bids over $2880.00. There is some parts you may not see, but don't count on any extras. This is the same condition I bought it in. I have not bought or found anymore parts for it.
