Vehicle Detail
1968 Ford F100 SWB A good looking short wheel base F100 up for sale. This mostly original truck appears to have had one respray in the factory Rangoon red in the past. It had lost its luster but was still in fair condition so we gave it a matte finish which looks great. It does have minimal rust in the lower door corners and in the hood. You can see in the pictures below. I would only repair this if you were to go with a show finish at some point. It would have ruined the look of the truck to repair it now. At this time we also resprayed the roof, bumpers, grille and wheels with a nice complimenting gloss. We also restored the interior along with all new cab seals and anti-rattlers in the cab. The glass was in excellent shape except for the windshield which we replaced with a new one. Has factory radio bezel which hasn't been cut. You will need a two knob radio, or you can cut this one for a CD player if you so choose. It has a 302 with an FMX 3 speed automatic transmission connected to the factory 9″. It has been lowered using a DJM Suspension kit which retains the stock springs. The rolling stock is a new staggered set of Wheel Vintiques 17″ gennie wheels on new Nitto rubber. A lot of fun in this package for a little bit of cost. Anyone is welcome to come and view the vehicle during the auction. We also welcome any third party inspections on your behalf. Also, if you're the kind of guy that needs to see, touch and smell it before purchase... we will be happy to pick you up at BNA and drop you back off so you can have the peace of mind in what you are purchasing. Any emails asking to disclose what the reserve is will be ignored. That defeats the purpose of an auction. However, feel free to make offers if you feel inclined. If any additional pictures or information is needed feel free to call Brian at 615-207-6279
