2000 Honda Gold Wing GL1500 SE - - 25TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION!Here is a chance to own a piece of motorcycle history - the very last "TOURING" bike made by Honda. The GL1500 was manufactured for 13 years - and this was the last year. Honda then introduced the GL1800 "SPORT TOURING" bike.The 1500's were unsurpassed in riding comfort on long road trips, and many improvements were introduced in the last couple years to make the comfort and safety even greater. Check these features added in the final years of production: Much brighter headlights, chrome valve covers, improved sound system, fog lights, black background on instrument panel, underbelly panels color matched to main panels, lowered seat height, foot warmer vents with controls topside, stronger clutch for improved shifting, lighted handlebar controls, advanced cruise control now takes it's reading directly from the camshaft, better back support for the passenger.These are some of the many options included in the top of the line SE package: Reverse gear, CB radio, lighted rear spoiler, adjustable passenger floorboards, chrome rotor covers, AM/FM radio with cassette player, cruise with accel, decel and resume, self-cancelling turn signals, adjustable air suspension with on-board compressor, rear speakers, intercom and vented windshield.Additionally, here is a list of accessories that were added: Sierra Electronics MP3 player modification to OEM radio, Utopia driver's backrest, Kuryakyn Passenger Transformer Boards, Deluxe J&M passenger audio controller, driver drink holder, 12v accessory outlet in left front pocket, Wind Deflectors and chrome luggage rack.All of the fluids and filters were changed in the last 1,000 miles. Tires are in good shape. Paint is excellent, although two of the decals have small scratches that I was not able to touch-up very well because they are not paint - new decals are probably in order.
