Vehicle Detail

2000 Dodge Dakota R/T5.9L V8 I am regretfully listing my R/T here. Family comes first and she must go. First off. The title status is manufacture buyback. When Dodge advertised these trucks originally, they claimed a higher tow rating than what the truck is actually rated for. They gave the owners an option of selling the truck back to Dodge. The original owner did this, and actually bought it back again from Dodge. It's not salvage, and has never been involved in any sort of accident. This truck has received MANY tasteful upgrades over the years and it really shows. The truck was bought new in Tucson AZ, and has spent its entire life here in the desert. I just had the transmission rebuilt less than 500 miles ago by a certified Chrysler transmission tech. Brand new brakes all around and new front wheel bearings. All Mopar components were used. Actually, all mods on the truck are genuine Mopar performance parts, with the exception off the Hotchkis suspension system. Here is a list of mods done, starting from the top. K&N Cold Air IntakeF&B Billet Throttle BodyMopar M1 Intake ManifoldMopar Magnum Valve CoversMopar Roller RockersMopar HeadersMopar Performance PcmMSD 8mm Plug Wires The rear axle also received a set of 4.10 gears. Suspension is completely Hotchkis using their TVS system. Handles like a Viper. Speaking of Vipers. The wheels and tires are from a 2008 Dodge Viper. 18x10 front & 19x13 rears. They really give the truck a mean muscular look. The tires are brand new Nitto's with less than 500 miles on them. The exterior received a few mods which include the bed cover, and rear roll pan. Also installed are a set of custom power rear view mirrors. The truck was professionally repainted about 3 years ago in the original bright white. At that time a brand new set of headlights were installed. The truck looks amazing, but is not perfect. It does have a few small paint chips here and there and just a couple of small dings. The interior is in excellent condition with just light wear on the carpets and upholstery. The drivers seat bolster is getting worn, but the upholstery is not torn. The lower dash had something installed by a previous owner and has some holes in it. I haven't bothered with replacing it, but the parts are easily found if you choose to do so. The A/C works great, but the heater does not. All of the power options work as they should. The bed has a carpet kit installed and really looks great. The mileage on the truck is accurate. It was used primarily to commute from Tucson to Phoenix on almost a daily basis, so its mostly all highway mileage. The engine oil has been changed every 3000 miles, and only with Mobil 1 synthetic oil. I think I have described the truck to the best of my ability, and I am sure I have forgotten a few details, but if there is anything in particular that you would like to know about please feel free to ask. I wouldn't be afraid to drive this truck across the country, its that nice. The truck is listed locally for sale and I reserve the right to end the auction early if need be.
