Hello, I'm selling a really nice 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 classic car. This is a strong,smooth running classic car. She's definitely a head turner wherever you go ! This can be a nice weather weekender or a reliable daily driver that you'd be proud to own ! A lot of restoration work and upgrades have been made, mainly in the Cocoa/Merritt Island, Florida area in the last year ! It still has the original Ford 352 cu.in. engine with 52,174 actual miles and the original Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. The engine runs smooth and strong and has great compression and oil pressure ! Most parts under the hood are new including alternator , battery, starter, voltage regulator, solenoid switch, fan, pumps, belts, valve covers, intake breather, fan shroud, overflow tank, windshield wiper motor, vacuum line, gas line, thermostat, etc. A complete upgrade and conversion was done to front power disc brakes ! What a difference ! Did a conversion to electronic ignition . Interior is in great shape ! Just installed new headliner, seats and covers are nice with driver seat being power . Dash has been detailed, painted, and knobs fixed with new bulbs and fuses installed. Original AM radio works. Installed a new Grant wooden steering wheel but also kept the original steering wheel and all the pieces! All windows including 2 vents work fine . Rear trunk has rust areas fixed and looks like new with working spare tire. The entire fuel system was replaced -- new gas tank, sending unit, new fuel pump, new gas line, and the Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor has recently been rebuilt ! Installed new mufflers and some new pipe areas. Exhaust manifolds were reworked at the machine shop. Chrome in pretty good shape with rear bumper pitted areas sanded down and painted. Body is in good shape with straight lines and was painted Blue several years ago. Paint is in good condition and recently buffed . The four tires are all brand new with original white walls, black 15" rims, and original hubcaps that were an extra option ! This car also comes with an original Owners Manual .
