Vehicle Detail
This 4th Generation Honda VFR750 is one of the finest you will find on Ebay, hands down. Those of you that know the history of the VFR and the featured V4 engine, know it is one of the best all-around bikes on the road, with a rock-solid/bullet-proof engine. I started riding my uncle's '97 VFR750 (same generation) years ago when I was visiting him in Minnesota. I have owned bikes all my life, ranging from sport bikes to cruisers, but once I rode his VFR I was amazed at how comfortable it was to ride, how sporty it was, and how well it handled in tight twisties and fast sweepers. I was so impressed that I went out and bought myself this one about 6 or 7 years ago. Although it's hard to part with it, I have finally decided to upgrade to the newly designed Honda VFR800. This is a testiment to how well I like the VFR as a bike. Anyway, it has 21,219 miles on the clock, has over $250 worth of gold anodized nuts/bolts, clutch/brake reservoir covers, fairing bolts, etc. It also has a Zero Gravity tinted windscreen, Wileyco (pronounced Veleho - Italian I believe) carbon fiber slip-on, Pazzo CNC machined shorty clutch and brake levers, 5th Generation VFR800 mirrors (hate the 4th generation mirrors), Fender Eliminator kit, and brand new Dunlop Sportmax tires on front and back. The new VFR800 I bought, had these Dunlop Sportmax's on and this bike had Michelin PP3's with only 800 miles on them. I am a big fan of the Michelin Power Pilots, so I just swapped the tires. I just had the bike in about 800 miles ago and had the carbs cleaned/synced, changed front fork oil, and had valves checked. The Yuasa battery is a couple years old and is always kept on a tender. The paint is in very good condition, with no fading. There are a few very fine scratches from normal wear and tear, but you have to be looking for them to see them. All fairing panels are in excellent condition, with no cracks whatsoever. The only defect on this bike is a small dime sized dent in the tank up near the steering stem on the right side. Hard to see, but it is there. I have taken a picture of the dent (last picture) to give you an idea of the size and location. I keep all my bikes covered in a temperature controlled garage and enjoy pampering them. All servicing has been done at our local Honda/Kawasaki Dealership and I have all service records since I have owned the bike. I am the second owner. I also have the solo seat cover plugs, OEM clutch/brake levers, and grab rails. This bike is sold as is with no implied warranty. I will be out of town from July 30th thru August 6th and will try to answer any and all questions you may have about the bike, but please be patient if I do not get back with you right away. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time, as I do have it listed locally as well. A $500 deposit is due via PayPal within 48 hours of auction end and I only accept cash or PayPal for the final balance. Please ask any questions you may have before bidding and please only bid if you are seriously looking for a nice VFR. Thanks!
