1989 L98 Corvette. Auto. Purchased 2 years ago. Driven 15,000 miles - very reliable. Runs well. Capable of 25 MPG. The Good: The Engine runs very well No issues with transmission The headlights open The complete dash works. Power Seats work. Power windows work. Power door locks work. New Magnaflow Mufflers (>1 year ago, now show rust but solid). New rear Y-Pipe w/ crossover tube @ same time. New Brake Lines (last year). New Distributor (This month). What Needs TLC: Drivers seat is worn, see pic AC blows cool (needs a charge?) Heat usually doesn't work. Automatic climate control panel displays erratically, needs rebuild Roof panel has 2 stripped bolts. No wrench. Radio works but whines. CD/MP3 disc plays. Cruise control does not work. Driving lights do not work. Electric Radiator Fan needs repair. The hatch release is manual reach back, pull wire. Catalytic converter bolt hole stripped, replaced with nut/bolt & added extra thick metal wire to back pipe in case CAT bolt came loose. No issues since but definitely rigged! Has Staggered C4 ZR1 wheels. 35s in back. 40s in front. Chrome is pitted. Tires need to be replaced. One wheel had crack repaired. Fine since. The body has dings, overall is in fair shape. Paint is decent! Left Front corner hit in parking lot which caused some trim and paint issues. Not too bad though. Driven several thousand miles since then! See pics where I tried to show everything - close ups of all panels. I have tried to represent this car as fairly as possible. It is a 25+ year old car and is sold AS IS. No warranty. Encourage all to come test drive it and you will see its really solid. It handles great! Sometimes idles low (500) but runs great on regular gas. But is sold AS IS. Please ask any questions! Selling because I have purchased a 90 ZR1 That's what gets driven now and this car is the reason! It gave me the fever and now its time for someone else to enjoy it! It has a lot left to offer!! I have purchases several cars here on EBay. Most were good transactions, but one was a disaster. So I know how that feels.
