TOOK IT TO A FEW MECHANICS AND THEY SAID IT HAS A BLOWN/BROKEN CONNECTING ROD. HAD A GUY TO FIX IT FOR ME BUT I'M DECIDING TO SELL TO GET A NEWER GRAND PRIX WITH 5.3L. CAR STARTS AND RUNS BUT ENGINE IS KNOCKING VERY BADLY. HAS BEEN SITTING SINCE SEPTEMBER 2014 AND I THINK THE BATTERY IS DEAD BECAUSE I COULDN'T GET ANYTHING TO COME ON WHEN I RECENTLY TRIED (WILL UPDATE LISTING WHEN I CAN JUMP THE BATTERY). SELLING CAR "AS IS." CAR HAS MINOR SCRATCHES AND PAINT CHIPS ON FRONT BUMPER, NO MAJOR DENTS. ONE SMALL DENT FROM SOMEONES CAR DOOR ON THE SIDE. HAS FACTORY GTP RIMS, WHICH ARE LOSING THE CHROME PLATING MOSTLY ON INSIDE OR RIMS. FAIRLY DECENT TIRES, TWO HAVE SLOW LEAKS (DRIVERS SIDE TIRES). BEFORE ENGINE WENT BAD ON ME, I HAD LOWER INTAKE GASKET CHANGED, SUPERCHARGER GASKET CHANGED AND BOTH FRONT WHEEL HUB ASSEMBLIES CHANGED. INCLUDED WITH CAR WILL BE A PAIR OF MOOG TRAILING ARMS AND MOOG INNER TIE RODS, WAS GETTING READY TO CHANGE AS WELL. (APPROX $300 OF PARTS, ALSO THE TWO GASKETS WERE ABOUT $200 WHICH WERE CHANGED IN JULY OR AUGUST 2014). PAINT JOB ON THE CAR IS AMAZING, LIKE I SAID MINOR SCRATCHES. SO IF YOU ARE A MECHANIC, THEN THIS IS A VERY EASY FIX FOR YOU. ALSO GOOD ENGINES FOR THIS CAR START AROUND $500 USED UP TO $1500 NEW/EXCELLENT CONDITION. LABOR TO DROP STARTS AROUND $400 -$500 UNLESS YOU GO TO PEP BOYS WHERE IT COST ABOUT $800 - $1000.
