Up for sale is my beloved 1999 Isuzu VehiCross. Two years ago I swapped the engine out with a BRAND NEW fresh off the crate engine, however, there is now a problem with the transmission. The new engine has less than 500 miles on it. Just trying to get back some of the money I spent on the engine swap. It drives fine just makes a rubbing/thudding sound from the bellhousing area. In park or neutral there are no noises at moderate RPMS, only when it's in gear and doing highway speeds. It does need new tires, alarm/key FOB, and a battery. Cosmetic damages are scratches on the rear passenger side cladding, scratched or cracked (don't remember) hood insert and normal wear and tear from a 15 year old vehicle. I am stationed in California and it is currently in Poteet, TX. I do not have the time or the money to spend fixing her up and shipping out to California, so willing (mainly the wife says so, "or else!?!?") to part ways... reluctantly. The interior is in great shape; no tears, rips, cracks on the leather. Has the "rare" roof racks, spare tire/rim. Other than the new engine it has remained unmolested and is essentially stock, including radio. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Obviously, pick up only. It should probably be towed unless you live within the local area. Most of you who have come across this post, did so because you were looking for either this particular make of vehicle or parts for your VX. Unfortunately, since I am in California and it is located in Texas, I cannot part out; I am sure I could make a lot more money doing it that way. I am specifically speaking of the roof rack and/or complete engine. I am on the forum at VCruz_52, not sure if it is back up (last few times I have tried it said it was under maintenance... for like the last month.) yet but there was the entire post and check-sheet posted on there.
