This listing is for a rare and original 1963 ½ Ford Galaxie 500 fastback! This is an original black/red car, Z code 390, and even a factory 4 speed car! I bought the car from the estate of the original owner back in 09! This car is a rare and complete car! I have the original window sticker, build sheet, & a copy of the original title dated oct. 1st, 1963! This car was sold new from Greensboro Motor Co, in Greensboro, NC. It stayed in NC until I acquired it 6 years ago! It is showing 40,562 miles on the odometer. The car is equipped with the popular Z code 4v 300hp 390 engine, 4 speed manual transmission, 3.50:1 non locking rear end, red vinyl interior, AM radio, Tinted windshield, full wheel covers, and Raven Black exterior paint! The car also has factory chrome valve covers and rare front and rear bumper guards! This car is complete; the original spare is still in the trunk! The only part missing is the original air cleaner! The car is still wearing most of its original black paint! The hood and left front fender have been replaced at some point in the cars past. The body does have some rust; it has rust in the RF inner fender below the battery. The lower quarters, trunk floor and lip that holds the trunk seal are rusty. The rest of the body is nice, doors, hood, trunk lid are great! The doors open and close perfectly, all the glass is good as well! The red interior is complete and original! The original owner wrapped the steering wheel in black tape, NASCAR style when the car was new and installed XL pedals in it! The car will run on a gallon jug and sounds good! I have driven it around the yard, the Trans feels great! It can be driven onto a transporter. This is a rare factory 4spd bench seat Galaxie! This car is original and UN molested! I am the second owner of this car ready to pass it on to its new owner who will properly restore it back to its former glory! I have tried to give an accurate description of the vehicle, if you have any questions please ask. If you need more pictures I will get them. There is a reasonable reserve set on this auction. I have a clear VA title in my name that will be delivered to the new owner upon receipt of clear payment. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours, the balance in 5 days, sorry no-exceptions. This car is not drivable and needs to be removed within two weeks unless prior arrangements have been made, I will work with the new owner as best as I can.
