Vehicle Detail
1968 Dodge Charger project with a lot of the hard work done. All new metal work has been done in a shop. Front floor pans installed, new roof skin installed, new trunk pan installed, new rear filler panel installed, Dutchman panels, front valance (new not yet installed, small patch in one lower quarter and that's all the car needed. Comes with 5 doors, my opinion one door is very nice the rest are workable, take your pick. Comes with a used hood that will need some love, I was going a different route. Will come with an extra complete dash from a parts car, with the VIN number and all gauges etc. Also have two fender tags both very nice. Have a lot of parts from 2 cars, but not all the parts are here. I wanted to hang the bumpers, but no brackets, so I'm working on getting the rest of the parts. I do have two sets of chrome, glass, taillights, etc. I do have the bumpers just not pictured here. Currently have no seats I am working on that as well. I had taken the car to a shop for restoration and got in over my head so here it is. I picked up the car and this is all I got back at this point. I have asked for my parts but it's like I'm asking some kind of a favor or something. I took this car, complete minus the driveline and seats, and an incomplete parts car to the shop and this is what I got back. He said I'll get my parts but frankly I'm 55 years old and I can't hold my breath much longer. There is a lot of good about this car, that's why I bought it in the first place. The car came from Alabama so it was very solid from the start. The frame and everything under the car was and is in unbelievable condition which is real hard to find as you know. I paid $9,000 for the car and I have at least that much more in it. We decided to replace any and all questionable metal with brand new AMD top of the line parts. The car deserves that. You will have to work the body as the metal work is all that has been done. I primed it with epoxy primer to preserve the car. The grill is real nice and complete. I'll help find or retrieve any parts you need, or I'll give you the guys number and you can try. This car was born a 318 auto on the column and is VIN and fender tag accordingly. The parts car was a 383 big block automatic floor shift car and the VIN and fender tags will come with the sale I had them add the center council brackets to switch it the floor shift. As I stated this car came from Alabama where they do not title classics. I do have the bill of sale from when I bought the car and I'll do whatever I can to assist you in obtaining a title, they can be bonded in Mn. I considered doing a Fast and Furious with this, I think that would be awesome. Great candidate for many options with a lot of the hard stuff done. Bid to buy it I intend to sell the car. I will be going to Mopar National and could possibly bring it with me but it will be paid for in full before I consider any delivery. Ask questions but be realalistic, know what you're bidding on here. This is a highly desirable Mopar, I want to see it find a good home. Call 218-821-4394 or email through here. I have described it the best I can. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time as the car is for sale locally as well. Make offers or trades, I'm done with it.On Jul-24-15 at 10:00:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Here is the deal on the parts. The only major things important missing now is the headliner bows and the seats. Now there will be small items like nuts and bolts anf clips, but the big things are there. Keep in mind this grill is very nice, the original dash is nice, the fender tag is nice. The rest of the parts missing would not be used anyway, like door pannels, side marker lights, etc. You wont find a more solid car to build. Good luck
