1966 CJ5 VIN 8305A215749 This is a CJ in fair shape that was rebuilt frame-up in the late 1990’s. It has been used mostly as a Colorado hunting vehicle and for Jeeping in San Juan Mountains southwest Colorado. It has less than 15k mile since it was rebuilt. It has a Buick 225 Dauntless odd-fire V6 with a 2-barrel carb. Dana 44 front and rear with 4.88 gears and Dana 18 tranfer case. The engine had new rings, valves, bearings and oil pump at an engine shop in Houston. Modifications included: Partially boxed frame, urethane bushings, auxillary fuel tank, two electric fuel pumps, NP435 four speed transmission, Centerforce clutch with chain clutch control, 11x2 brake drums, single tie-rod steering, Auburn Gear High Performance Series limited slip in rear. Painless wiring harness, spring perch skid plates, power steering from a Buick Century. Includes a complete service/rebuild manual. The seats and Bestop softop are shot.
